Buyer Beware

This mask comes in a box stating the lens is glass. It is not. It is polycarbonate (plastic). If you prep the mask lens thinking it is glass you will ruin it. It is a quality mask, worth buying just dont do anything to the plastic lens.

It fits our small toddler

Finally we found a mask that fits her face (length of face 7”, cheek width 4.5”, forehead 5.5”). We are in Bali where they sell all kinds of watersport products, couldn’t find anything that fit her. Tried the Aqualung Sphere and that was still tiny bit too wide. I took the plunge and ordered from Amazon. Ordered the snorkel and the neoprene strap cover too. We haven’t tried it in the water but quite confident will be good. Did the mask test, asked her to inhale and the mask stayed on her face. Highly recommend.

Not for 7 year olds as advertised.

Not the size as said. Stated as for 3 -7 years BUT the package says 3-6. Too small

A Decent Goggles Pair

Very nice material. Lenses are great. Fastening is very comfortable. The two drawback are: the silicon doesn't smoothly move on the back of the head due to friction with the hair, and it's was found difficult for our young daughter not to breathe through her nose..

Incorrect dimensions

Dimensions aren't accurate. The dimension in the listing that is A (width of the inner skirt) is actually 3.75" and the B dimension (height of entire skirt) is 4".

Awesome mask for a 4 year old

This fit my 4 year old perfectly. Was the only mask we tried that fit his face and didn’t leak. Was also the only one that he would tolerate. Coupled this mask with the Cressi child’s snorkel and flippers (with lots of practice) for a successful snorkeling trip.

Sizing

My daughter is 3 and this fits on the small side. It does not look very comfortable on to me but she loves the fact she can be a mermaid with it.

Just ok

My daughter loves them, however they are not tempered glass as the description states, the lens is plastic. My daughter is nearly 6 and they are a bit too big in the nose area

Excellent and well fitting mask

Excellent and well fitting mask. The seal works really well with no leaks. Clear glass offering a good range of vision. Easy to adjust the back strap to ensure a secure fit. Recommended.

Good snorkelling & diving mask

I scuba dive and swim a lot. * Do they fit? * The first thing to test is if these fit your son/daughter. The good news is that there is no seal on the product so you can test them and return them if they do not fit without ever entering the water. The way to test if they fit is simple – I was taught it when I learned to scuba dive: • Place the goggles over your son/daughter’s face *without putting the strap over his/her head* and push with a very, very small amount of pressure. • The goggles should stay stuck to their face without falling off (held on purely by mild suction). • The principle behind this is that if air can’t get in, neither can water. If they fall off, they don't fit – send them back and try a different size or brand. Everyone's face is different so some people will find they don't fit. If they fit using the above method but not when you wear them, it's because you are inadvertently breaking the seal – the most common reason being because hair is trapped between the mask and face. Just sweep your hair back and try again. The second most common reason is because the straps are too tight. A common misconception is that to get a good seal the strap should be tight - that actually makes the mask MORE likely to leak as it puckers the silicone skirt, creating channels for water to enter. It also makes them far less comfortable to wear and gives your son/daughter great 'goggle eyes' (a red pressure mark where the mask touches the face). Advantages of this mask: • It can be used for snorkelling and diving as well as swimming • The lenses are made from polycarbonate (a plastic), so they are safer than glass (but they can still break, so care is needed). • They have an easy-to-adjust strap. Just lift a tab to lengthen/shorten the strap. Disadvantages: • It does not come with a case. This is common with snorkelling/diving masks. Frankly, if you only want a pair of goggles for swimming then I would not buy them – my children use Aqua Sphere goggles for swimming partly because they come with a case. You can’t use Aqua Sphere goggles for diving because the mask does not cover the nose, unlike this Cressi mask. There are lots of Aqua Sphere goggles – this is one of them:Aqua Sphere Seal Kids Swimming Goggles - Lime, Clear Lens . Cressi are a leading manufacturer of scuba diving and snorkelling equipment. This is a good snorkelling and diving mask.

Very pleased with this junior diving mask

Very pleased with this junior diving mask. Nice unisex design and fits well across age range [7-13]- great flexibility. No water ingress at all and is comfortable to wear with superb vision. The quality is excellent and the materials used and little design touches make this a professional level product at an incredibly reasonable price in my opinion. Can't go wrong with Cressi to be honest.
