Was sent a broken table that was previously returned

UPDATE: I bought this a third time after returning the second order. The third order arrived in good condition, well packaged, and was not an open box return (like the second order). ORIGINAL: I bought this table, and liked it, so I decided to buy a second one. The second one was obviously broken, and had very clearly been returned by someone else (old shipping and return labels were still on the box). This was completely unprofessional and unfair, and now I have to waste my time lugging a huge package back to UPS

Solidly built accent table

This piece is an outlier among pre-packaged furniture sold by Amazon: while many such products require assembly and feature metal frames, this small table is fully assembled, made from wood and stone and only wants unpacking, so it arrives packed in an unexpectedly large box. Inside the box the table has been packed like an antique vase, with multiple layers of cushioning to protect the wood, the rattan, and the heavy marble top. Unforeseen circumstances kept my table confined to its packing for a long time, but when its time arrived and a hallway table was called it rose to the occasion like Rudolph. It's handsome and well constructed, heavy for its size, topped by a beautifully veined polished marble disk, and fits in well with many other styles of furniture: it looks classy. The only small imperfection I noticed were some less than fully smooth patches on the top: not a manufacturing defect but a result of natural variations in the marble. This did suggest it wanted some protection from minor spills and soiling so I ordered a well-regarded brand of stone sealant: many kinds of wax and spray on products are available for this purpose but this one promised to be the most durable, and I can always add a wax polish over it for more shine. You could just protect the top with a cloth and occasionally use specialized cleaners, but it's probably easiest to protect it thoroughly from the start. This piece is not inexpensive, but given the materials and craftsmanship involved I believe it's fairly priced. If your investigations suggest the same and the style works for you then you will not be disappointed! It's a solid piece of furniture.

Gorgeous!! Tall and wide. No assembly!

This is by far one of the nicest pieces I've come across and worth every penny. This table is absolutely gorgeous, it's the new centerpiece of our living room! I'm going to decorate around it. Beautiful quality and craftsmanship, it looks like it could be an antique. It's a great height and width, larger than I expected. It also comes fully assembled and it's a bit heavy, due to the marble on top. No worries on shipment as it's very well protected. I have nothing to say but positives. Completely recommend this piece!

Beautiful and Unique

I love this end table! It's very sturdy and well made and looks great in my living room. It's functional and has two shelves so you can actually store things on it. You could also use it for decoration or to display knick knacks if you wanted. The wood is a deep, rich brown color and the top is off-white marble. It has a bit of a bohemian/antique look to it and I've already gotten lots of compliments.

Beautiful side table, heavy, high quality.

Super happy with this side table I ordered. It's made from mango wood and is very heavy and sturdy. The legs have beautiful detailing. The cane shelves add a retro or boho touch to the table and the cane is very solid and also sturdy. The marble top is gorgeous. It has lovely veins in white and gray colors. This table could be used with numerous decor styles and fits perfectly in different seating nooks. I also like the height of the table at 28.5" and the extra shelves for books. Love it. Would absolutely recommend and worth the price.
