12/5/2020 - The packaging was so poor that I could see the screw ends sticking out of the cardboard box, so the screw threads could be damaged. Oh boy, that was the first sign there was going to be trouble. Several of the wires in the wall of the basket were bent, but none were broken. I believe the cap nuts for the screw are very poor quality of metal and they just give way and strip when you try to assemble or they just wont screw on at all. Of the 8 screws required for the assembly, only 4 worked. 3 Large and 1 small. That's when I knew I had to return it. I have returned it with the request of receiving a hopefully better basket and screw attachments and better packaging so there is no screw thread damage. This product would be better if the screws were not pre-welded on and if they provided high quality screws and caps. For this price there really should be some Styrofoam packaging to protect it. All it had was flimsy bubble wrap and flimsy cardboard. Overall, I liked the look of the basket, and it will work for my purposes, but a purchase must meet the basic rule of a product.....you must be able to assemble and use it. : ( I'll continue this review once I receive the replaced basket. 12/6/2020 - I'm back! Well, I was amazed that Amazon replaced the product the very next day. No joke! I received the first once yesterday, submitted my request to have it replaced, and another one arrived today. Now, for the end result...bahm bahm, baaaaahm. The 2nd basket was practically demolished in shipping : 0. The main basket was crushed as others mentioned, the wheel frame was bent, and the wheels were all scraped up. The only hope I had was if the screw caps would be intact enough to make my original basket work (Thank God I waited until Monday to return the original one). It was go! All the screw caps now work, so the original basket could be assembled. It really should have some rubber washers at least, because the caps don't screw on far enough to keep everything solid. I intend to use this as a laundry basket, so I will add stick on bumpers to protect my walls and baseboards, and try to find something to wrap on the wheels to make them less damaging to my tile floor. It does have the vintage look that I wanted and I will be fully happy with it once I make my amendments, but,,,,,,I would not purchase this again because...#1. Ridiculously poor packaging (it isn't worth it to have to get two of a product and piece together to get a working product) 2. The cost is not worth the value of this basket (Poor materials and workmanship) $86.00 is way too expensive for the quality of this product. Creative Co-op should ask Balsam Hill where to buy cardboard boxes...my gosh! those are magnificently protective!! The way you package your product tells me how valuable it is. My Balsam Hill garland cost as much as as this basket. I think "Someone / Creative Co-op" needs to value the products they make, by adding quality assurance in manufacturing and packaging. Lastly, my Kudos to Amazon for not prolonging my disappointment by getting a replacement to me the very next day. THAT is why I keep coming back to Amazon!
