I was super excited to get this
I was super excited to get this, as I haven't bought a costume (instead of making my own) since 2007. It is super cute and I actually really enjoy wearing it, even though I normally really don't like dresses (I was Capt Jack Sparrow in '07). It is really comfy and I love the added strap at the neck to make sure the girls don't make a surprise appearance! I must say, though, if it wasn't for Amazon really living up to their 1 and 2 day delivery claim, I certainly wouldn't have it for my party tonight. The costume is really small in sizing. I am 4'11 and about 120lbs. I originally got a small, but there was NO WAY I was going to get it on. I panicked and immediately requested an exchange for a medium. Amazon is SO amazing when it comes to their exchanges. I went ahead and paid extra for their next day delivery because, although they said it would arrive the same speed as the first, I got free 2 day shipping and it showed the next day. However, my second dress wasn't projected to get here until this Monday and I ordered my second one on Tuesday of this week. Didn't want to take the risk. So, once my medium dress arrived, I was incredibly nervous about the sizing issue and knew I didn't have much time to order a third. My heart sank as I put it on because I realized it wasn't going to zip past my ribs/around the boob area (36D). My boyfriend decided he wasn't going to take no for an answer and we realized that if you actually pull the skirt up (super unattractive and uncomfortable haha) and zip it that way, you'll be able to get it zipped! And once we pulled the skirt back to its rightful place, I realized that the dress fit like a glove!! I fell in love with it immediately and wore it for the next half hour because I was so excited. And the stockings are a super cute touch! I can't bend over to touch my toes or else my butt will show, but you do have a lot of freedom with it. If I have to touch the ground, I just squat down and don't have to worry about exposure. The top of it is pretty sheer, so a white strapless bra is your best bet. It also covers well, but does draw the eye towards them. Just be a little wary about the sizing and don't be afraid to try some different things to make it fit. If I went up another size, I'd have too much cloth at the top. But as long as I wiggle it around, I can get it zipped and it fits well. The back actually has a little excess fabric at the small of my back. Sorry this was all over the place, but I hope it helps someone!

Would Recommend
1. Sizing: based on reading their product description, I would have leaned towards the extra small. However, based on all the reviews, I bought a small. The skirt is perfect length with the small. It’s supposed to be short. However the extra small would have fit me better around my bust/waist. It feels looser than it should around my waist and the top just feels really big and baggy for my bust. I would’ve been fine going with an extra small and dealing with the shortness (just wear spanks underneath). For reference, I am 5 ft 5, 32A bust, 26 inch waist and 110-115 pounds (depends on the day). I think the people who say size up probably have bigger busts than me and/maybe the shortness of the dress. If I was even a B, it might help a little but it makes me feel like my boobs look even smaller. Only reason this is getting 4 stars is because I am not completely in love with the fit of the outfit. Overall, definitely worth it for the price and would buy it again. My boyfriend went to Octoberfest so he owns an expensive, fancy costume. He wanted me to buy one to match him for Halloween so that he gets the most use out of his outfit lol. 2. A girl posted she bought this exact petticoat a few reviews before me (pretty blonde with bf .. she posted pics). I took pics with both the petticoat and without so you guys could get an idea of length. It makes the outfit a little longer which I know some people may prefer. The poofiness is cute. The petticoat is one size fits all which I was not completely in love with. I rolled up the petticoat once because it was a little long on me. I might try to do some DIY outfit adjustments to try and make the waist and bust smaller? Might be too much work. Also excuse my messy apartment

This Outfit was so cute and flattering for Octoberfest, the only downside was probably that it was costume like compared to other outfits. It was very short but I am also very short so it worked.

Little loose, longer torso, super cute!
Ok so... legs avenue, even their plus sizes, have never particularly been my best friend when it comes to costumes. I'm 5'7, weigh about 260, 44DDD chest and I'm an evenly fluffy hour glass figure. On average, I usually purchase 2x clothes unless they say they run a little big. With LA usually running small on me, I was tempted to get the 3x/4x size. I am super glad I did not. Lol It seems to fit a little loosely for a 1x/2x. The torso part is long on me and I would say my torso is a little longer than normal but not enough to classify it as a long torso. However, I'm going to do the fold over trick another lady recommended and call it a day. My arms are fluffier than I'd like and this fits them really well.. my arms are always my problem area so yay! This outfit is super cute and comfortable and I actually feel cute in it. My zipper doesn't want to stay up when the fabric pulls, but adding a hook and eye will fix the problem. I caught it on sale so all in all, extremely happy with my purchase and ready for Octoberfest and Halloween! Would not recommend the lega avenue plus thigh highs. They are as snug and small as I remember and not to my taste. Some of the local plus size stores have a good selection but I thought I'd give them a try first. Lol (thigh highs have to be ordered separately, not included nor is underskirt)

Great costume. Very comfortable and looks good. I am 5'3" and 125 lbs and usually a small but ordered the medium. Very happy with the size medium.

Too small
I needed this for an Oktoberfest event. The size I chose should have fit me but it didn’t. It was 1 size too small & I could not zip it up. I’m normally a Lg / Xl, I wiuldve needed the next size up being 1x/2x

Great unisex costume
Fit me great! I am 5’6” and 157lbs. With a negligible bust size. The material was the standard costume material. Not great but not bad. It was nice to wear a dress during a Halloween party as it was quite breezy and kept me cool. The gf had the exact same costume and also enjoyed it.
