Excellent Competition Style Swimsuit

This is a very nice one-piece swimsuit for competitive swimming. The fit is good and the suit is made from high quality materials. This suit has held up well over many months of regular use.

fits snug and hard to determine size needed

I ordered this for my daughter who does not swim competitively. She does swim quite a bit in the summer but for play. I have never been on a swim team and have not had to purchase swim suits using this type of sizing so I'm sure I ordered the wrong size for my pre-teen girl. She could not even pull the suit on. The suit itself seems to be very well made of a thick material made to stand up to frequent use. I like that the style is modest. If you have not worn this type of suit and/or used this sizing system, I would caution against ordering. After reading the other reviews from swim team and swim coach moms, I believe this is exactly what it says it is and a good value but it is not made for leisurely swimming.

comfortable, slightly slim

Fair disclosure I am a swim coach and have 5 kids on a competitive swim team sponsored by Speedo. We like Speedo, Tyr and Arena suits. My oldest daughter wears a size 26, which is what we received. It fits her well so we would say it runs true to size although she does find it slightly tighter than other Arena suits she has worn. NOW competitive suits are not the same as play swim suits . . . they are intended to be tighter, but this style is tighter. The cut is comfortable and worked well for all four strokes. The back is better than a closed back suit and having a little extra fabric on the underside of the X helps it feel more comfortable. She loves the print. This is the typical polyester fabric which should hold up to chlorine and constant wear. We normally rinse in cold water then soak in a bucket for 10-15 minutes, rinse again and then lay flat to dry. We normally will get at least a year out of a suit this way . . . and that is with kids in the water 2-3 hours every day, 6 days a week, some days twice a day. We could not find any manufacturing flaws or other problems.

Perfect for swim team

Swim team is starting up and my daughter needed another swimsuit to practice in. This one is perfect. We have had multiple arena swimsuits and they always last and are great quality. The fit is true to size and it is perfect for an active swimmer. Highly recommend this swimsuit!

snug, good fabric, dries fast

This swimsuit has a soft, comfortable fabric that is snug to the body for a streamlined dynamic when swimming. Our daughter likes it, and it fits well, and dries quickly. The fabric and stitching all seem to be well made, and it seems like a good quality suit. Very pleased.

Got this for my ace swimmer daughter

The media could not be loaded. I'm not actually totally sure on her exact size but she's rather petite and svelte so hopefully this will fit her. I love the beautiful design, kind of painterly, which is perfect coming from her professional artist mom. Very well stitched. Low back yet with straps to hold it on for the butterfly stroke. I showed you a photo with all the specs on the tag. It's somehow supposed to be good to fight against chlorine. I'm not sure they'll use chlorine in their new above ground inflatable pool that I just gave them, but we'll see. It's good to have a bathing suit whether or not there's chlorine. ???? She can wear this beautiful Arena women's team swimsuit on the beach when she comes to visit, also. Let's all go swimming in the sun, ???? all.

Great Competition Suit Once You Figure Out ARENA's Size Chart

My 9 YO is about 75 lbs and wears size 10 in children's size. I looked everywhere for a size chart conversion, even on Arena's website. I ended up ordering a size 22. It was so small! It fit her sister who wears a size 6/7 in children's. Despite the sizing snafu, the suit is very nice and the quality is outstanding.
