Odd draw string design

A lot of the reviews say they run small but in my case they were big. I ordered my normal size and they were falling off. I figured I would just pull the draw string and live with it but the draw string doesn't go all the way around the waste. The most you can tighten them with the strings is an inch, maybe an inch and a half which wasn't enough in my case. They seem nice other than that, I'm going to order a few sizes smaller.

Nice pair of board shorts

Nice pair of board shorts, but the fit was very snug on my son. Of course, not everyone will experience the same, but this was our experience. We gave the pair away.

Colors fade fast.

My son loves these shorts. They are comfortable and fit well. My big complaint is that after one vacation the colors are already fading.

Be the Beast of the Beach with these bad board shorts.

This suit took me from Dadbod to Radbod. As somebody who is quickly approaching 40 and doesn't exercise nearly as much as I should, the beach isn't the best place for me. Unfortunately, we live in the Great Lakes State where we are surrounded by water and beaches. Any given weekend means a trip to the lake or riding in somebody's boat, or getting hurled mercilessly off of a plastic tube while being drug behind a buddy's boat after 3 too many beers. That says nothing of the time spent at neighbors' pools (the only thing better then having a pool is having a neighbor with a pool). On top of all that, we took a two-week trip to Florida this summer. This included stops in North Carolina and Georgia. Suffice it to say I may have spent more time in a swim suit this summer than I did in any other type of trouser or short pants. Thankfully this Quiksilver boardshort came into my life. While the gray color may suggest the excitement of watching C-Span, it is truly the perfect tone for a schlubby white guy like myself. The hue is just dark enough that it doesn't show sand and dirt (wearing white trunks to the beach is sure to make it look like you soiled your pants - again), yet light enough that it doesn't make me look like the body double from "Casper Hunts for Beach Bunnies". Plus, it has the most perfect accent touch in the neon draw string. Pair this with one of the many perfect Quiksilver rash guard shirts and even *I* can look good at the beach. These shorts had me fending off soccer moms and lonely widows all summer. I had hoped that all the extra attention would make The Wife realize how great a catch she had and start cooking more steak for dinner. Instead she bought me two more pairs of these things and suggested I take the kids to the beach by myself more often. Weird. While these are great for the beach, pool, or backyard Slip 'N Slide party, I have learned that they should be worn in moderation. Turns out they are not super appropriate for court. And if you wear them to your kids' parent teacher conferences, you should really pair them with flip flops (I suggest Reefs with the bottle opener built in). Apparently school floors are covered in things like athlete's foot and MRSA. Who knew?

Purchased as a gift but the gift receiver likes them very much

These were bought as a Christmas gift and the receiver my son-in-law like them very much he is very much a Waterman and as I have many many many different boards she says these are good

Nice red very comfy

I usually where 38. I ordered the 40 fits great. Well made however for me a board short is like a swimsuit. But These don’t have the mesh a swim suits have. Good buy good price

They arrived on time and look good. There is no internal netting which means they cling when getting out of water, hence 3 stars.

Nice shorts but not as advertised.

Shorts are comfortable and are great for the beach. My complaint is that they came with a white drawstring and not the orange which I was expecting and what was advertised and depicted.

Satisfied

Bought these shorts for my Husband. Looks great, the fit was great but received a different colour (style) then ordered. Didn’t return because he liked them anyways!

Fits true to size

These fit perfectly around the waist, and I'm really happy with the length. A little disappointed they don't have the built in liner, but they're long enough that nothing will be hanging out. A little free balling on the beach never hurt anyone anyway.
