Frustrating sizing

This is my fourth and last attempt to find a Speedo one piece swimsuit that fits just right. I've ordered several and all were attractive and beautifully made, but the size was off in one way or another. I went to the Speedo website to make sure I ordered the proper size for myself. It's important to note that you may be a different size in a different style of Speedo - they all have their own size chart so try to purchase accordingly. I ordered this swimsuit in an 8 after another suit in size 4 seemed a little too tight on the back straps and a 6 was too short in the torso. In all of these instances, I could tell the swimsuits didn't quite fit right due to where the breast of the swimsuit sat on my body, which was typically too low. I am 5'4, 115 pounds, 34B/32C (fluctuates up & down). While the size 8 was finally long enough for my (usually short!) torso, I could tell I had a little extra fabric on the sides and the back. While this is a small amount of fabric and doesn't pose a huge issue, swimsuits tend to stretch after multiple wears due to pool chemicals, so I wonder if this suit will still be good at the end of the summer. The halter looked pretty, but provided no support. For younger people or those with a rounder chest, this will look fine. For those who need a more sculpted cup or a firm band under the breasts for support, this swimsuit will not suffice. I truly love the look of this swimsuit. I believe it is very well-made like all Speedo swimwear and will stand up against pool chemicals and sun damage better than the average swimsuit. The lining is nice and the look is beautiful and classic. This swimsuit is a little bit sexy on top but quite moderate on the leg cut. I wouldn't say you should stay away from this swimsuit - there are many positives - but I would warn that it may take several attempts to find a Speedo in your size.

Love this swimsuit! Cute and great quality!

I love this swimsuit and I can’t wait to wear it this summer! I’m really surprised at the other negative reviews. I got a size 14, which is what I usually get in swimsuits, and it fit perfectly. I’m somewhat busty, so I was worried about having enough coverage on top with the way it’s made. It provides enough coverage and looks cute without feeling too exposed. The quality is great as I expected. My first Speedo swimsuit, I would definitely get again!

Disappointing

I've never had a brand name bathing suit so I was excited to try something in a higher price point then I usually get. I thought it might have better quality and fabric. I'm 5'4, 138lb, 34B with a short torso. This fits true to size with an adjustable halter neck. Unfortunately, the cut of it doesn't work for me. I'm small busted and the top pieces are spaced out too much, very unflattering. There's no underwire, just little pads. What small bits I have it just squishes down to make me look totally flat(unlike the lovely girl in the photo). The cut of the bottom hits my hip so that the elastic pushes in for a nice little pudge spill out(yuck). I think if you're very fit and svelte, this is a nice suit, otherwise it just doesn't seem to acclimate to any kind of curves.

Great lookin suit, fit seems off

This is a great looking Speedo suit. A nice contemporary cut, not too much thigh, just right. But the fit was rather strange. I am 5'5" and got a size 8, which I normally wear, and it was a bit loose and uncomfortable to really wear on the beach. It looks good when first on but then seems to "settle" a bit and stretch so it is not as snug as I prefer. It is well made, and very nice looking. For women 5'6"-5'9", I think this would fit better. I wish this fit just a bit tighter and more supporting, it's really a nice suit.

This is such a cute suit and I love that there are matching child size suits! The adult is slightly lower-cut than I'd like but other than that it is great!

Fit is off, not suited for short torso or petite folks

I wanted to love this swimsuit so much, the style and the print are everything. Unfortunately the fit isn't right at all for me, even after pulling up and tightening the strings, there was a lot of excess fabric in the middle section. If you have a shorter torso like I do or are more petite (I'm 5'4"), then you might have this issue. Someone who has a longer torso or is taller might find the fit better. I also think that this swimsuit runs about a size large, I remember speedo fitting much tighter than this one does.

Not for tall ladies

I’m pretty tall (5’10) but my torso is just barely longer than average. I typically don’t need to purchase tall sizes in one piece swimsuits…. However, this one was too short in the torso for me :( It technically fit but it looked odd since the breast area was much further down than it should be. The material feels wonderful and it looks exactly as expected… but avoid this if you don’t have a shirt to slightly under the average sized torso.
