You get what you pay for

We bought this for a school project for my 10 year-old son who did a biography on Lincoln. The beard wouldn’t stick and shed like crazy, the hat wouldn’t stand up without support (I rolled up a shelf liner to give it structure), and the suit was flimsy and cheaply made. We ended up using only the hat and finding other solutions for the beard and suit because my son was embarrassed by how cheap it looked. Low price but still poor value for the money.

Yes, the hat was floppy and I had to stuff it to make it stand up. Yes, I had to rig the beard around my daughter's ears with trash bag ties. And yes, the material that the actual costume was made from was extremely flimsy and cheap and I had to buy black pants at Target for like $12, which she will wear again.. BUT - LOOK AT THE PRICE!! Totally served its purpose and she looked ADORABLE and was very pleased. That's all I cared about :)

Hat is poorly made.

The hat had a hole in it when we received it but there was not enough time to exchange it before Halloween. The hat is also so poorly made that it doesn't stand up. We stuffed a small towel in it to help. The jacket and shirt are one piece. I was pleased with the quality of it. It does come with a beard but my son didn't want to wear it due to sensory issues. This set does not include pants. Overall, I do recommend it for a lower budget costume. My son loves Abraham Lincoln so he also enjoys it. Just wish the hat was better.

Worked great for our needs and excellent value for monet

Very happy with this especially for the price. Was very aware the quality would not be great (what do you expect for under $10 for a complete kid's costume?) but it worked perfectly for my nephew's school presentation on Abraham Lincoln. Sticky adhesive for beard is virtually non existent (which I knew from reviews) so I simplyI stitched elastic so it hooped around his ears. He loved is costume and did a fine job acting out his role as Abe... entertaining us with his incessant beard stroking and pondering. A fun, cost effective costume.

Good kid costume

Good value for the money. Needed a quick costume for a school report. Hat is a little funky but if you steam it and maybe stuff it it stands fairly straight and the wrinkles come out. I didn’t expect much so it met my expectations

Just like other people saying

The costume arrived without any issue. It was just the same as shown in the picture. This was only a one time use for my 7 years old son's school presentation. It served its purpose. Just like other people saying. We stuffed the hat with newspaper to keep its shape. We sew/stick a small piece of black cloth between the beard and the face so that it won't cause any itch. The double sided tape on the bear was too small to hold it on the face. We put on three larger double sided tape, about 1"x1" each. Put one on each end and one in the middle. It stayed in place on the face without any problem. Considering its good price (low). Great bang for the buck!

Cute Lincoln Costume

I liked it but the beard won't stay on unless you attached it otherwise. We had to use pipe cleaners. Also had to add material to the inside of the hat so that it would stand up tall. The nice thing was that most of the parts for the costume came in 1 package so we didn't have to go searching for everything to put the costume together.

Bad felt hat and beard!????

Received item. Hat was torn off the rim when taken out of package. Very cheaply made hat to go with the outfit. Hat is made out of very thin felt. Will have to see if I can fix it. For a school project. Need a better hat to go with this costume. Also the beard is very poorly made. Hair falls out when you touch it. Very disappointing. Would send back if didn’t need for school.
