Great quality and light weight loppers
I used to work in a commercial orchard so I know and understand the value of a great pair of loppers. I wanted a wooden handled pair but I opted to try these aluminum ones instead since I only have a dozen trees and not hundreds like we used to do. So far these have proven to be great quality, lightweight and very sharp. I haven't cut anything too large yet so I am interested to see how the aluminum handles hold up with larger cuts.

Works Great!
Does what I hoped, and that's lopping down branches with ease. Yeah the bigger dryer branches take a bit more grunt, but that's to be expected. Tool had no problems, after doing some good size branches. Plus love the fact, this item didn't come from China. Wish Amazon would add a checkbox, show me items not made in China.

Great tool
Best loppers I've ever used

Love love love this tool
This cuts branches like butter! I saw some other reviews mentioned not to try the max capacity, and I really don't since I have a hand saw for larger limbs and wouldn't hate to damage these, but that said I have tried this on relatively think branches and roots and never had any issue. It doesn't have a locking mechanism though so that is my only complaint, but maybe that is standard with this type of tool.

You get what you pay for
The 36 inch handles give you the ability to reach taller vegetation. The cuts from these loppers allow the cut to be closer to the trunk of the tree

CORONA REPLACED DEFECTIVE PRODUCT; GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE - One arm broke after six months. Cannot recommend.
Wanted to buy American. The reviews were very positive. However, after about 6 months of intermittent usage, one of the two arms bent and later broke just below the screws that connect the arm to the forged metal. Certainly a poor value for the premium paid. At the same time, I purchased Fiskars brand loppers; the Fiskars are still going strong. UPDATE 14 MONTHS AFTER PURCHASE I raised the review from 1 star to 4 stars because Corona replaced the defective product that I had received. I remain disappointed that the product broke, but am gratified that Corona stood behind their product. The lesson to me is that there is a cost to having very light-weight loppers with tubular aluminum handles: do not use these to cut dry limbs, or any limb / wood that is "too hard". The loppers are "professional" in that they are designed to be used by some for long periods, making lightweight especially valuable. I would encourage Corona to make this intended use clearer in their product description. To their credit, Corona designed the loppers so that the handle failed before the forged cutting surface failed; the handles were an effective circuit breaker for over-energetic pruners. (I would have been happy with just a new arm.) Note that the Fiskars loppers are substantially heavier and have steel handles. UPDATE 16 MONTHS AFTER PURCHASE I have discovered that Corona sells replacement parts for its products--and it seems virtually every part of every product is available. And they are sold at reasonable (not the common extortionate) prices. And their customer service role is well-staffed by pleasant, competent people. You can find part numbers (and even order) on their web site. You can also order via their customer service phone line. I discovered this when I lost a spring on a 14-foot tree-pruner. They really do stand behind their products. I will be buying more products from Corona (based in Southern California).

Very satisfactory, but not for every job
These loppers are surprisingly lightweight, and as easy to use as any with 32" handles could be, i.e. a little awkward. They appear to be well made and sturdy, but I haven't yet used them long enough to know how durable they will turn out to be. I think they will be, if they're used for their intended purpose. They're orchard loppers, not heavy-duty ones. They're designed to cut live branches up to perhaps 1/2" in diameter. And I wouldn't advise using them on hard, dead branches that large. I may be underestimating them, but when I use them to cut something that's too large or too hard, the handles flex in a way that's worrisome. If heavy-duty loppers are too heavy for you, trying using a small saw instead. I find a Bear Saw with a large-toothed blade very satisfactory for this purpose, and easier to use than a pruning saw. One last point that may be obvious--loppers with 32" handles are *not* very useful for cutting branches up close. I quickly learned to also carry a pair of short-handled shears with me when working with them!

Know how to fold em
Packaging wasn't good, but product is still great. Thrown in a box with nothing else to stop it from moving around. Wasn't happy with these at first, but I was using them wrong. It sounds dumb, but I didn't think there was a wrong way at first. The dull side cradles the branch while the blade moves to perform the cut. Do it the other way, and they're near useless. They are not good for dry dead branches and limbs. Fresh green and they cut smooth and perfect. Will likely never get rid of these or have to buy another set. They're as sturdy as it gets.

light
This product does everything it says it will. The weight of the loppers is nice and makes long use not as tedious
