Just what I needed
I bought this shadow box because I have two of this same type already. I bought some over 5 years ago and was pleasantly surprised to find this brand still out there. I needed to frame a little stick-on window art piece that someone made for my infant's nursery but the project has lots of little tiny pieces that kept coming off. Being the overly protective worrier that I am, I didn't want anything floating around that could be a choking hazard, especially when my little one starts crawling more. The shadow box has an insert in it that holds a photo/paper in the back so that it opens up space for the "shadow" part of it. It's sturdy and removable, which gives you a lot of wiggle room with how you want to put your project into the box. The glass is also removable, which was perfect for me because I was able to fit the window decal to the glass, then secure it with the insert. For any other project you can put your image in the back with at least 1/2 to 3/4 inch of space in the shadow area. My other boxes have souvenirs from previous travel that all fit nicely in one display. Highly recommend, the quality is still great and it's easy to take apart and place back together.

Nice frame, looks good with my small butterfly collection
Several years ago I was given 30 pressed butterflies, I wanted to mount them and display them but never got around to getting a frame. Then I found a frame but it wasn't quite big enough. Rather than buying a new frame for the whole collection, I separated it and got this frame. To mount the butterflies I needed a cork backing (which I purchased on Amazon, Quartet Dark Cork Tiles, 12 x 12 Inches, Self-Adhesive, 4 Tiles per Pack and cut one to size). The additional cork did not affect the box much, it closes and looks great with the 12 butterflies. It did not come with hanging hardware, but there were holes on the back for hanging. I prefer those Command adhesive strips to hang pictures that are not too heavy. There was a thin lip for the Command strips, so I cut them in half and that works fine to hang this on the wall. I used the black Command strips so you can't really tell how it is hanging from the front. It is a plastic frame with polycarbonate 'glass.' It came well packaged with clear plastic covering the glass to prevent scratches.

Great value for a small shadow box
It is a small but nice little shadow box. It does not have a proper backing for most projects, just the back of the frame and a thin piece of cardboard with the information printed on a blue background that you see it the picture. I bought some fabric and wrapped it around the cardboard insert to use as the back to pin things up with, and it worked well for that purpose. For the price, it can't be beat. It made a beautiful momento for the child that we lost. I was able to fit 2 pregnancy tests, 2 ultrasounds, hospital bracelets, and a few other small momentos. It is a snug fit but I love how the project turned out. I would not go any smaller than an 8x8 shadow box for most typical shadow box projects, however. There would not be enough space.

Fun way to store memories
I purchased this shadowbox to make my husband a gift for our first anniversary. The first anniversary theme is "paper." I used maps to create a map man and woman that focus on important areas to our relationship. The box is good quality for the price ave is sturdy. It's plenty deep enough for a paper project. The one thing that I was disappointed with was that there is nothing to attach a background to, just a flimsy piece of paper and the actual back of the frame. I used a piece of cardboard and tissue paper to make my background. The gift was a huge hit and is now hanging in my husband's office.

High Quality Shadow Box
This shadow box is perfect! The price is unbeatable too. I needed a smaller shadow box for my son's keepsakes, but didn't want to spend a lot of money. The depth of the box is just right. It isn't super deep, but not too shallow either. It is the perfect amount of depth. This wouldn't be ideal for things like shoes, but would work great for baby hats and other thinner keepsake items. The frame itself is very high quality and the glass is very clear. There are so many possibilities with this frame and there is enough room to put a nice piece of scrap book paper as the background. I will definitely be buying more!

Good product, just measure what you will be using it for.
This was a pretty good buy. The package came very protected in bubble wrap. I used it to put my mothers obituary and a rose from her funeral in. It worked pretty well, it was just a bit of a squeeze for the rose. But it worked well and is now a cute keepsake on my wall. I would recommend this product as long as your item you are using it for isn't more than like an inch thick.

Has a lot of potential
It's cute. I had to add a lot to it. There's also no slot for insterting new stuff. You have to take the back off every time you want to put something else in it. The backing of it is just a thin wood, so I had to put something on it, because it was just brown. My printer and a cute decal made it a perfect gift for my boyfriend. Edit to this: We’re getting married May 2019!

Great for trinkets and treasures.
I purchased this to memorialize my dog who passed last year. I wrapped the backing in fabric from her bed, and added her tag and such. There is still depth in the shadowbox if I wanted to put a full collar or toy in there.

This shadowboa was for displaying my birds' colourful feathers and it looks lovely. It was easy to use and seems quite sturdy.

Used this a little memory box. Was the perfect size. Had a couple dents in it in the frame upon receiving it but nothing too bad and still looks good
