This Is The Best Product I Ever Purchased From Amazon.com!
This is one of the best products I have ever purchased on Amazon.com. At first, my wife insisted that I not waste the money on this bag (preferring to use trash bags, etc...); but I ordered it anyway. Wow, am I thrilled! First, the density of the plastic bag itself is awesome. While I had a soft cast to start; the new hard cast has some sharper edges; however, I am confident that the bag will handle a few nicks along with the many uses I intend to give it. Also, as my wife is pushing me after two weeks to be totally independent; I am practicing my own Olympic gymnastics trying to get this on and into the shower. I can easily put the protector on with one hand and pull up past my cast and knew with great ease (Gold Medal performance by product and user as far as I am concerned). Moving onto the next event; the shower! I can now say that with this protector and a hard cast, I am up to taking a shower every day (at least once or maybe even twice a day after the gym) thanks to the ease of using this protector. The plastic rubber seal that fits 100% secure on your leg (even my big fat leg) is awesome. There is enough flexibility in the seal, that if you get the right size (or any size range closely aligned to the length of what you purchase); than I am confident that your cast or area of injury will not get wet a all! I have taken 3 showers with the protector so far not even with a drop of water on the protected limb. That includes not having residual water drop on my cast when I am taking off the protector. I was so confident that the protector would keep my cast dry that I suggested to my MD that I could literally go swimming with it on (frowned upon at this time due to the nature of the injury); but I will be trying it soon once my cast comes off! So, if I could give this product 10 STARs!!!! I definitely would. As far as trash bags; since I can use this product with confidence over and over again (I foresee at least 100 showers with its use in the future); it is also of better value in the end being a very cost effective, safe, and pleasant device to use. If I was an MD; I would actually consider offering them to patients in my office as they are an incredible product that could raise revenue too if moderately marked up but available for those who do not use Amazon.com! Awesome product!

Looks weird but works great
I recently tore my quadriceps tendon and muscle. After surgery I was in a full leg brace which did not allow the leg to bend for several weeks. I ordered this product because I was getting desperate for a shower but I knew the leg brace must remain on. When the DMI Cast/Bandage Protector showed up my first thought was "No way will that work". The hole in the stretchy material at the top looked way to small. I am happy to say that it is not too small. It stretches quite a bit. We were able to get it over the leg brace and it securely snapped back to the skin on my upper thigh. This protector works exactly like the vendor indicates it will. My bandages and brace remained dry while allowing me to finally get a shower. The venal is nice and thick. It is a well built product that does what it is supposed to do.

Great fir cast and wounds
My sister complained of feeling gritty with only able to do sink bath. With the cast dressing cover she was able to take a real shower and feels fantastic now. I’ll recommend to all my friends and neighbors. Wish I had found this sooner.

Simple and effective
So much better than saran wrap or taped bag. I am amazed that the orthopedic surgeon did not suggest this item. It works like a charm for a knee replacement on my 6 foot 2 inch husband.

These waterproof leg coverings work. I’m an RN and am now using due to having surgery on my foot. Old school using Saran Wrap and tape and hope for the best is a thing of the past with these items. Using in the shower and dressing is bone dry when removed. I will suggest not using if you have long nails as a small tear in the silicone will ruin it. Also don’t force it over the foot as it will tear. It’s rugged but why chance it? I do have to say it’s tight when it goes on. It may feel uncomfortable when left on for too long. It works and is a time saver. I’ve since bought a shorter one. Works the same

Does the job, didn't leak.
I got this for my mom after she broke her knee cap in half. I needed something that was long enough and wide enough to fit up and over the huge brace her leg was in. She's been using it for a little over a month and it has held up. Getting this on is absolutely a 2 person job if the person that needs it can't reach their foot to put it on. The seal is really snug, so it'll take some getting used to, and might be a little difficult to hold it open. BUT it does keep the leg dry when taking a shower, and was only used in the shower (for anyone asking about hot tub or bathtub use). You will sweat a little while wearing it, so don't be surprised if your leg is a little damp. Easy to check for holes with a hairdryer.

Terrible customer service
This product worked great for the first 5 times and then the latex ring started separating at the blue ring until it eventually pulled right out. As this was under a year old, it was supposed to be covered by the warranty. I contacted DMI and after 20 + emails and supplying them with the bill of sale and numerous pictures I was told they don't ship to Canada but they would ship to an American address. I arranged for that but was then told I would have to pay $20 US ($26.00 Can) for shipping. That is pretty well the replacement cost for a comparable leg cast protector sold by other companies. After 34 emails I have a cast protector that is now useless and a warranty that the DMI does all they can to avoid fulfilling. Safe yourselves your time and a lot of jumping through hoops to satisfy their requests only to find out that the warranty is useless in Canada. Buy a competitors product

Great Quality Product
I purchased this product after trying several others and it worked as advertised. The vinyl is quite durable and the plastic ring makes it easy to put over my full length leg cast. The waterproof membrane that seals around your leg has been completely waterproof after many uses.

Easy to use
After an operation on my foot, i was in plaster for 9 weeks, and unable to get it wet. This was a great solution. Very cheap compared to buying plastic sleeves and waterproof tape. Not once in 9 weeks did water enter my leg. It's very easy to put on, no fuss, seals extremely well, and durable. Also the 42"model is large enough to cover all of the leg, right up to the thigh.

No entra agua, se pone super fácil y es resistente
No se cuela nada de agua, va genial para la ducha. No se puede sumergir completamente, seguro que entra agua por la junta de silicona, pero aguanta las salpicaduras de una ducha sin problema. La única pega es que el tamaño de pierna completa es enorme y sobra mucho, con mi 170cm de estatura quizá me hubiese funcionado mejor una medida más pequeña.
