lightweight
I was looking for a light cotton blanket and this fits the bill. As mentioned in previous reviews, it pulls VERY easily due to the loose weave. On a king-sized blanket, I probably have 30 of these little snags with minimal use and only one wash prior to using. If this is a deal-killer for you, spend more and look for a tighter weave.

Used as a blanket placed between the sheet and bedspread . It’s warm and cool at the same time . 100% cotton is a BIG DEAL , I searched a long time to find a quality 100% cotton blanket .

I am in LOVE with this blanket!
I'll admit, when the box arrived and I was opening it, I was prepared to be disappointed. I spent hours looking for the perfect blanket in just the right color (pale aqua), and the one I ordered from Kohl's was unattractive and SO not aqua. But this one ... as soon as I opened the box and took the blanket out, I fell in love with it. It really IS pale aqua, is nice and large, and is the perfect weave. Amazon.com comes through again!

Lots of Shrinkage and a Dryer Lint Abomination
I bought a white and gray TB blanket based on reviews and friend recommendations. You need to buy a size up due to shrinkage if you have a deep mattress 14"+ (king mattress buyers will need to look at another alternative). What bothered me the most was the alarming amount of fibers in both my washer and dryer. I found clumps of threads in my washer which I had to wipe up, (even after 3 initial washes), and then I ran several rinse cycles to make sure my washer's drain line wasn't clogged. I've never experienced so much lint in my washing machine. There was an alarming amount of lint filling my dyer lint trap, I washed and dried the blanket 3 times in the hopes to get the stray fibers managed and checked every 15 minutes after the first drying cycle to keep the filter and vent line as clear as possible. I filled up a 4 gallon trash can with the lint I collected! I was so worried about a lint fire, I had my dryer vent line cleaned after all of this. The blanket still held its softness and thickness. I just hope that any subsequent washing/drying won't produce so much lint; otherwise, I can only conclude this blanket will eventually wash away to nothing.

Good Blanket for Summer!
Love the Tommy Bahama products! We have looked for a waffle pattern blanket for awhile and found this one. Would have given it 5 stars but when I washed it, the label said delicate, but our new washer and dryer did not have a bulky option for delicate. Washing on delicate, it didn't spin out and was a sloppy mess. So washed and dried on bulky. When I removed from dryer, the lint trap was layered w nearly 2 inches of compacted lint! Never seen it so full after 1 use. So I'm a little worried about washing again....but still love this blanket!

Unwashed - Lint Heavy
I bought 2 of these blankets, they are very comfortable and seem to be good quality. I only give two stars though, as it appears they missed a step in the manufacturing process. The problem is that neither of the blankets were washed in their manufacturing process, and they are packed full of excess fabric and micro fibers. One blanket was used immediately without being washed and a few days later there were pieces of lint/dust on every surface in the room. The other blanket we ordered later, and washed immediately. This when we realized that both blankets had missed a step in their manufacturing process. The washing machine tub was over 6 inches deep in excess fabrics, and the lint trap in the dryer was so full that I had to remove the entire lint trap, clean out the dryer ducts to prevent possible fire. We threw out the first blanket and are happily using the second one now.

Breathable with a good weight
This blanket is light and breathable with a good weight to it so it feels like you're still under a blanket. I tend to get hot when I sleep but still enjoys a blanket so it can keep me nice and cool!

don't expect perfection
i've been using this since i got it. so far i haven't felt hot or cold at night so that's good. the weave is a bit loose and it came with a few flaws (snags) but they don't really matter. overall i'm pleased.
