16 Quart Stock Pot for our Induction Cooktop
After looking at the large selection of 16 Quart stock pots I decided that Cooks Standard Classic stock pot was the perfect size for our induction cooktop. Other vendors were too large in diameter to fit on the largest burner on our cooktop or the style was unsuitable. The Cooks Standard Classic has a sturdy feel to it, both in the body and the handles. My wife commented on this the first time she used it to make applesauce. The pot has a very nice finish on both the outside and inside and it cleans up very easily, though we haven't overheated anything in this pot that stuck to the bottom. And if we did, Barkeepers Friend will easily clean it up (scouring pads are no longer needed for our cookware). The only issue we had with this pot was that the wrong style lid was packaged with the pot. It was the Cooks Standard Professional Stock Pot lid, a brushed stainless finish with a welded loop handle. I contacted the vendor and within 3 days I had the correct lid. Great customer service.

A Really Good Pot
My stockpot had developed some sort of black spots on the bottom and I decided it was time to buy a new one. I did a lot of research before I decided on this pot. I am really pleased with my decision. I had an issue with something burning on the bottom (not enough water) and there was no problem with the clean up. Since the pot was still warm a wooden spoon removed most of the problem and I followed that with a little Bar Keeper's Friend. It looks just like it did when it arrived. I am definitely pleased with this purchase.

HEAVY, you would think you spent more!
This is the deal of the century on this heavy of a stainless steel pot. I was shocked at the quality. It was way more than I expected at this price point. When I felt the weight of this, it seemed on par with some I have seen in stores for 4 times this price. Very happy with this purchase.

Excellent product
I am a triple wall all-clad fan. This product seems to be the same level of quality at a not insignificant discount in price. Bottom is very heavy, giving great heat control. The lid has a slightly higher handle, which keeps it cooler than the all-clad even when used under high heat. Performs as well as the all-clad. Quite happy with the purchase.

Great Induction Stove Stock Pot!
Needed a new stock pot for an induction stove and hoped this would work. It does, and very well indeed. Already used for chili and performs well on induction stovetop. It is about 9 " high and 10 1/2" inch diameter, so a good size for recipes larger than a dutch oven. Has a heavy base, and actual riveted handles, nicely shaped in a curve and easy to use, so these handles will last a long time. The lid fits well also, although I seldom use a lid for cooking. Large enough to take some jars for pickling or jam, which I also do. Overall, a good buy, and well made. Value for money!

Highly recommend
Previously bought the Cuisinart stockpot and had to return it because it smelled bad when it was heated and there was burn marks on it after the first use. Took the plunge and bought this stockpot, so glad I did. It works well, didn't smell of metals when it was heated and was easy to clean. The lid is secure and the handle is sturdy, it also has a heavy bottom and feels well made.

Works great
The only reason I bought this pot we got an induction oven and the old pots didn’t work on the new oven. This is a perfect pot works great on the induction.
