Finally, a frying oil container with a realistic capacity

I looked a long time for a frying oil container with a decent capacity. It amazes me that most companies top out at 2 liters. The container is high quality stainless steel, and has a reasonably tight seal. No sharp edges, most of the edges are rolled. I don't have to wash an extra pot after I filter the oil. My filter setup allows me to filter the oil @ 350 F, the funnel for my filter fits perfectly in the canister so I don't have to strain the oil into a second pan. Highly recommend!

Not all stainless steel

The whole container is not stainless steel.

Flush-mounted strainer can be a problem

You must take care pouring used oil through the strainer because it sits flush with the top of the container and oil can easily splash off the mesh and onto the surroundings. If the strainer were simply recessed slightly it would eliminate this problem and could also allow the strainer to stay in place while the top was on it. You cannot store the strainer with the top on the oil container. You must remove the strainer and store it separately. It's not a deal breaker, but it is an inconvenience.

Exactly what was pictured, wish the cover securely fastened.

Would like this to have a locking cover. Cover easily gets knocked off as it sits on the top and does not screw or lock in place. Otherwise it works great, just have to be very careful where you store it to not barely bump it and knock the cover off.

Right size

Had a hard time finding a grease can large enough for the grease from a deep fryer. Ordered one previously which was too small. This one is just the right size to pour the grease but with no room to spare. It comes with a strainer which is helpful. It would be easier to use if it had a handle to pick it up with.

Great Quality but needs handles.

This pot holds just over 3 quarts and has a tight fitting lid. That is perfect for my Presto Pro Fry. The problem is that there are no handles. You can't pick it up when it's hot and when it's full it could easily slip out of your hands.

A must Have

This is a great investment. I love that it has a built in trainer sitting at the top under the lid. This will hold lots of oil. Love it. Mines is sitting on top of my stove.

Sturdy gd size for 8qt fryer

Love my new stainless steel container. Nice and sizable for my new fryilator. The grate has small holes so the grease crumbs don't fall thru. Easy to clean no water spots when dry! Grt quality

Looks good and works well

I use this for my deep fryer and while handling hot oil is no fun this keeps it manageable. The strainer does a good job with the big pieces of food the little ones will get through so I had to get creative with a funnel and some cheesecloth. Would buy again 10/10

NO CORREPONDE A LAS FOTOS

El colador no cabe dentro del recipiente , queda sobre el mismo y está suelto . No se puede tapar con el colador puesto. Definitivamente no es el mismo producto el que se muestra en las fotos de la página a lo que se me entregó. Me decepcionó mucho.
