Adpater works just fine
I used one of these (together with three Honeywell Home RDWL917AX2000/E Doorbell Portable Wireless Doorbell 9 Series) to put a doorbell annunciators on each floor of my home. The setup works great, flexibility is "over the top". I gave this product 4 (versus 5) stars because this unit is a replacement unit. The original Honeywell adapater failed after 3 years.

does what it's supposed to do, instructions not very clear
This adapter worked fine for me, and did what I wanted, but a few notes: 1. It has 2 different modes, either adding to an existing powered doorbell circuit, or just connecting to an unpowered doorbell switch. The manual is not at all clear on this - you have to squint at the wiring diagrams and be sure to pick the right one. 2. They tried too hard to allow push in wire connections, and ended up with something that's a lot more hassle than simple screw terminals. 3. In the powered circuit mode, it places quite a heavy load on the transformer (this is so you won't get false rings from a lighted button), so you may get slightly lower volume from the existing chime. 4. I did not have the problem with delaying ringing that some people complained about. 5. So far I have not had a problem with the CR2032 battery life.

Makes wired to wireless chime possible
I could not find other products that bridges wired to wireless chime like this one. It works great with 3 Honeywell Home RDWL917AX2000/E so far. Pairing is instant. This adapter solves the problem with upstairs and basement where I could not hear when someone rings. I hope Honeywell improves the manual how to remove the wire. I hate the connectors in the back and the design makes battery replacement not so easy (especially I hide in a wall). It should draw power from the transformer or at least beeping when battery is low - not only led. Another con is delay. With wireless setup, it delays about 2-3 seconds.

Works but skybell doorbell cam needs additional part
Replaced a mechanical chime that has a transformer putting out 20VAC. I have a Skybell doorbell cam hooked up. Both this device and the skybell didn't work. I figured out you need this digital doorbell adapter, SkyBell DA0210H (available on amazon). Neither are cheap and since this doesn't include its own chime you still need to buy something that makes light/sound. The wire terminals are compact, but annoying. It appears that most doorbell and doorbell accessories use screw terminals and fork things. So I ended up cutting the forks off the skybell adapter. But in the end pairing it to the Series 5 achieved what I wanted, a quieter doorbell that doesn't make my dog go nuts when it rings.

Works with Unifi G4 Doorbell and Honeywell wireless chime
Works well with Honeywell wireless doorbell and Unifi G4 Doorbell. Followed wiring diagram from a thread somewhere online, and it worked first time.

Terrible CR2032 Battery Life Makes This Adapter Nearly Useless
I've been using this RPWL4045A2000 Adapter with a traditional wired/illuminated Baldwin doorbell hardwired to a doorbell transformer, and a Honeywell Wireless Doorbell RDWL917AX2000/E for about two years. Everything was hooked up per the Installation Instructions by a licensed electrician. In fairness, the setup does work. However, even though the adapter is hardwired to the transformer, it still requires a CR2032 battery to function, which has proved problematic. Firstly, this seems like a poor design - why can't the adapter draw that 3V of power from the transformer, rather than require a battery? But more importantly, the manual suggests that one should get up to 2 years of battery life with 5 rings per day, yet my doorbell, which gets far less use than that, gets only about 2 months of battery life from each lithium CR2032 battery. Over the past 2 years, I've probably had to swap out the battery more than ten times! More often than not, when someone attempts to ring my front doorbell, it doesn't ring because the CR2032 in the adapter is dead! By contrast, the batteries in the wireless doorbell base have never needed changing. I don't know if my adapter is faulty, because I don't see others complaining about this problem. But good luck trying to get in touch with Honeywell/Residio tech support - typically, they will just place you on hold for about an hour, then disconnect you. Maybe you'll have better luck than I have with this product, but I am tired of constantly having to replace the CR2032 battery in the adapter, and am going to just install a traditional wired chime unit to the transformer, which will ring every time the button is pressed with no doubt, no lag, and will work for fifty years without another thought. Very aggravating experience both with this product and with Honeywell.

Very easy to install. Works as it should.
This product was easy to install in to my existing wired doorbell. I took out the old chime and put this in its place. The old chime didn't work with my Google Hello. I installed this by following the existing wiring. Make sure to mark the old wires so you know which go where. Also make sure there's enough wire to make a good connection. I'm glad I found this product.

Easy to install, works great
This product allows you to use your existing doorbell pushbutton(s) that have wires running from your doors to a chime unit which you are replacing with a Honeywell series 3, 5, or 9 wireless chime. Relatively easy to install if you just match the wires coming into your chime to the diagram in the box. Note it will accept 2 push buttons (front & back) like most standard chimes. You could add a second unit if you have more wired push buttons. I wanted this unit so I could use a wireless chime in my back yard. I was hoping to use it in parallel with my existing chimes but the current draw of this unit made the existing, mechanical chime not work properly. It would probably work ok in parallel with newer electronic chimes. Since this unit is so much smaller than the existing chimes,I ripped out the guts of the existing chimes and hid this unit inside. see photo

Works great
Came in less than 2 days right to the door. Hooked it into the existing wired doorbell and paired it with a Honeywell Series 5 wireless doorbell. Now we have a wired doorbell in the basement and main floor and the wireless doorbell in the loft above the garage (or wherever we want to plug it in). Very easy to install.

Good device but should be more connection options
I like this device, but in manual connection option only limited by one configuration. Ding-Dong bell does not work with it. I have to modify config, connecting in parallel with bell and now they are working both. Hope this device has over voltage protection. So far working for almost two month.

Pain to install but works great.
This was a pain to install as the wiring diagram is poor and the anchors didn’t have lips so went right through the drywall. I called tech support and was almost ready to return it as they were poorly trained. I was able to install it with my existing lighted doorbell by changing the wiring. Once i got it working it is great paired with the 3 series so if you have some patience well worth it.

Almost perfect! only one issue on multiple bell syncing.
-requires battery -2032 flat cell -works with a front and rear wired doorbell (w transformer).. mine have lights in both doorbell buttons and work fine. I can't guarantee that they will work w every style of doorbell push button though. Mine are basic cheap but new ones. (Contractor kit style) -reason for buying this unit; the doorbell push buttons supplied w the series 9 doorbell pkg. are not rated for -40 below. - I am using 2 bells , you can set up different tones and lights for each doorbell button. -currently running two Honeywell series 9 -MP3 units with a front and rear wired doorbell AND the wireless button from the series 9 pkg. with zero issues, all with different tones and lights for each on the doorbell units. (3 buttons / 2 bells) * this is handy as the wireless unit will end up on my gate. -note:the unit is very small and may require painting around where your doorbell was. -the only complaint I can focus in on is syncing. With a pair of series 9 doorbells , when a door push button is pressed, the units are not in sync. Meaning they start slightly before or after each other. If the bells are not within earshot of each other this probably isn't a deal breaker. This also happens without this unit as the units are not synced when using a pair of series 9 doorbells and the wireless push Supplied in the series 9 pkg. -if you are using only one series 9 bell (speaker) you should have zero issues -mark your wires to which is which before installing. *note I had my wireless button paired w both units before installing this unit, in case that makes a difference.

Works as advertised
Easy to install and does what it says. I used this to have the google Nest doorbell ring an indoor Honeywell chime wirelessly when pressed
