Really lightweight & wiggly

Product arrived damaged and missing screws. Customer service sent screws to me quickly which was great and I decided to tape the damaged wood and keep it. I'm old, it'll see me thru...????. It's not real sturdy.

Perfect Fit

This went together very fast and looks fabulous in my kitchen. The slide out keyboard drawer is working great to hold my knives! It's a great addition to my kitchen and matches my cabinets! Almost like it was always there! I love it!

Mostly Good Quality Desk, Excellent Customer Service

I'm mostly happy with this desk! Here's a quick pros and cons list: Pros: - The espresso color is nearly a perfect match with my dark walnut bed frame and looks quite nice. - Many pieces (not all) are solid wood, which I wasn't even expecting for the price! - Price was great, came out to $101 at my time of purchase. - Instructions were mostly clear and easy to understand. - Size is perfect - I am using it as a desk/nightstand next to my bed! - Customer service is excellent - here's why I needed to contact them... Cons: - the two pieces attached to the sides that hold up the drawer door turned out to be skimpy and weak - my dad and I were just at the last step of sliding the tray into the desk, so we start carefully sliding it in, and somehow we miss, and the tray drops (like, 2 inches from the drawer flap) and the whole drawer flap breaks off the desk and breaks the pieces attached. That drawer flap is actually quite heavy, so we were both disappointed and surprised at how soft and breakable the pieces that hold it are. Sooo here's the happy ending - we contacted Convenience Concepts directly, put in a request for the required parts, and they shipped them out within a few business days. Communication was great, shipment was prompt. Unfortunately we had to disassemble the whole desk and put it back together, but we were extra super careful this time around. However we were still disappointed with that design flaw in the desk (small pieces of soft wood supporting a heavy piece), and also that it is just a tad wobbly, but we hope that it will hold up with regular use! Knocked a star off for the weak/soft wood, but otherwise the desk looks great and is serving its function. Very very happy with the customer service though - we were relieved they lived up to their guarantee on their website!

Perfect for my tiny little work from home nook!

I have a pretty tiny room (even for NYC standards) and this desk is absolutely perfect for this little corner I set aside for my workspace! Super sturdy and relatively easy to assemble. The keyboard drawer is perfect to store my laptop while I'm not using it. Highly recommend for anyone in a small space!

PERFECT FOR A GLAM LITTLE MAKEUP STATION!

I wanted a makeup station at the back of my closet, and this little desk was perfect! I was actually surprised at how well made it is, especially for the price point. It’s not solid heavy wood, obviously, but it is really exactly what I was looking for. The drawer pulls out, so I added Bino drawer storage bins to organize my makeup, that fit perfectly. (Also ordered on Amazon). Cute glam drawer knobs from Hobby Lobby and bench from Amazon, and there you go! For under $150 I have a place to sit and “transform” every morning. So much better than standing at the bathroom mirror. I would guess it would make a great little desk as well, if you have limited space as I did. I’m super happy with my little DIY project!

Incredible craftsmanship and quality!

As an occasional weekend carpenter, I'm not easily impressed with furniture but this $70 desk knocks my socks off. Most anything out there in this price range is junk. I looked hard and that's my experience. The legs are solid wood and so is one stretcher. The rest, including the top, is particle board with a beautiful veneer. Though described as Oak this is in no way Oak by any stretch of the word. It looks exactly like Cherry wood. In one photo you'll see it side by side with other solid hardwood Cherry furniture. Identical look. Every part came; no missing screws, dowels, etc. The door pulls are quite heavy for their size; by no means cheapo knockoffs. Every single hole lined up perfectly. Rarely does this happen, and it made for an enjoyable experience, which actually started with the unboxing. Some of the best internal packaging I've ever seen. Appropriately placed strofoam panels throughout the box. A genius designed the packaging. Note that much of the assembly is already done for you, including all the drawer glides which are usually a nuisance to install. All you need is a Phillips screwdriver. The instructions are in English and well drawn. Again, this in itself is amazing. The only critique is with the front flip down panel. Actually it's with the little wooden stop that prevents the panel from being pushed in too far. The stop is too far forward, which means the front panel is too far forward when closed. A relatively easy fix. Also, the wooden dowels could have been a tad bit thicker. Overall I am super pleased and recommend this without reservation for anyone looking for a small desk under $100. If you're on the fence, don't be. You'll be pleasantly surprised. Check out the photos. Hopefully they help you.

Great value for small spaces

Value, value, value! A sturdy and easily assembled laptop desk with -- wait -- a pull-out keyboard tray. Mission styling matches my existing decor. Size does matter and Amazon delivers here.

Just the right size.

This is a minimalistic desk. I need it something that would be as discrete as possible and that would go with our new bedroom set. This does the trick. I chose this because it is small enough to fit in a small space, has the hidden keyboard drawer and, although the color does not match 100% with my furniture, it blends better than the white one I had previously. The only thing to note is that if you use a full size keyboard, there is barely enough space on the keyboard drawer for the mouse. I swapped it with another keyboard that uses a different key layout and is about 1 inch shorter than a regular keyboard and it works perfectly. I added a small shelf atop my monitor and a small storage drawer under the monitor and it is doing the job.

Fairly priced, solid design. A good choice for limited spaces.

Very easy assembly (two screwdrivers are the only tools required).Convenience Concepts 90102 Mission Desk The instructions are clearly and legibly printed. Parts are well machined so they fit properly, with no missing connectors or pieces. Once put together (less than 25 minutes), the desk stands solidly and level. Note that the finish is a slightly lighter tone than illustrated, but matches quite nicely with other dark hued furniture. There's ample space for any large laptop, or even a couple of notebooks side by side. The keyboard tray slides quite smoothly on its tracks, and may be used as storage for small items (e.g. mice, external hard drives). However, if used for this purpose, bear in mind that the tray has no rear 'wall', so it shouldn't be opened too brusquely. This compact desk is a ideal choice for a tiny apartment or where space is restrained. With its understated knobs and simple design, it should fit well with almost any decor.

Love this desk.

I love the way this desk looks in my living room and how nicely it fits in the small corner. I was a little worried that there would not be enough room for my laptop and screen but it fits perfectly. It was packaged well but had a few little scratches but not noticeable.

Lovely little desk that fits in small spaces. good looking and sturdy. the only thing is the drawer sits a little off center but that may have been our poor building skills.
