Nice for the money.
Works fine. I used better wire so a little harder to wire up. Living hinge seems weak but seems to be holding up well.

I got this item to use on my truck as a replacement for the plug that failed on the power cord of my block heater. This item worked perfectly and was easy to install. Now I have a hidden connection that is weatherproof and way cheaper than a replacement cord for my block heater. I'm knocking off one star because the boot that fits on the back of it isn't completely tight and I needed to add silicone to waterproof it. I also have my doubts that the cover over the plug will stay in place for more than a few bumps, but time will tell.

Good Quality - Tidy Power Hookup.
Well done. I mounted this power inlet inboard on my Four Winns Horizon 260, next to my ProSport 12 Onboard Battery Maintainer and Battery Switch, in order to keep everything close together and tidy inside my service compartment. I chose this method for cosmetics and to keep the connection away from the elements - I just run my extension cord under the service compartment lid. I used stainless screws and washers to mount the power inlet (screws and washers are not included). I strongly suggest using panhead screws and flat washers (especially, the washers) because the inlet's mounting holes are not setup for countersunk screws)

I purchased this item to use on my truck, to plug power cord in for the blockheater. This item worked very well for the purpose, easy to connect and always available and weather proof.This took the place of the cord just hanging from vehicile and looks more professional and customized.Price was great and shipping was fast.

Cover does not stay closed. A silicone cover instead of plastic may have been better/made a better water proof seal. Rear seal cover cord hole not wide enough for a 15 amp wire. Overall quality good.
