Comfort is tops!

Took away One Star ...The packaging says Boot Socks. I ordered Crew Socks. When we compared his previous Wolverine white crew socks, these were a little longer. Hey, they are still great socks. Hubby won't wear any other brand now. I did not make a return since he still likes them. There is an issue between the website and warehouse!

thick cotton bottom is a plus, however...

the thickness of the bottom of these socks is very good, very comfortable! . cotton adds to the comfort and value. however - just above the ankle the material is thin and see-through. probably not going to last long which is a downside considering how thick and long lasting the bottom of the sock might be.

Finally a quality sock

My husband has hated every sock we've tried for the last several years. He says that they are thin, that they rolled down his shin and and that they lack support. I've tried all the large national brands to no Avail. Finally I found great reviews For the wolverines and they have lived up to everything II read! My husband actually loves the socks and we will continue to buy them. They don't roll, they cushion his feet, they feel thick enough for cushion but allow his feet to breathe, they are wearing well and despite the fact they are slightly more pricey they are well worth it!

Best pair of socks I've purchased in years. Quality and good looks plus value.

Finally! I found some socks that really fit well and are generously made with quality material. I used to buy the Swoosh brand of socks for years, but I've noticed that they are getting smaller and thinner. I know it's not my feet, they've been the same size for years now. But the socks keep shrinking and getting thinner. When I received a recent order of swoosh socks I compared them to an old pair I'd had several years. You could see through the new pair! Anyway, these socks came carefully wrapped with nice instructions. A very nice looking logo on the foot. Trying them on, they fit perfectly, and generously, yet well fitting, not baggy, not tight. the material is a dream compared to the last few batches of socks I ordered. When I went home for lunch, wife noticed my socks and complimented them. I told them they were the best I've gotten in years, and I hated the other cheap new ones. So she said-- throw out the cheap ones and order more Wolverines. So I'm doing that today! Except I'm going to get other colors. If you're old fashioned and like quality made, generous material and comfort, these are the socks for you. I wish I had found them earlier, I'd have a sock drawer full of them now. Order them already! Highly recommended.

Best sox ever!

I'm very happy with these sox. I've been disappointed with the major brands for years - they are too thin, too long, too short - it's always something. Wolverines are just right - thick and comfortable but not heavy like winter sox. I'm ordering more!

Husband loves these socks

My husband loves these socks. They are a little heavier than other cotton socks and great for winter use. They keep your feet warm and dry. They add a little extra padding to your footpad and are move comfortable for those that may have issues with their feet. Very comfortable, and in my opinion, there is nothing comparable to cotton socks!

Maybe not 75% cotton and run small

Disappointed with these socks, I wear a 10 1/2 shoe and they run small. The ribbed part that goes on calf runs all the way down into the heal area., the ribbed part is thin and the top back of shoe heal will wears a hole quickly. The foot area is small and tight. They may not be 75% cotton---you can tell by the feel and they are stretchy and dont shrink hardly at all which is good cause they run small . I would guess they are no more than 60% cotton if that. They are ok if you cant quite find something else thats better.

Good Socks

These socks fit as expected (I'm a size 12 shoe) and are cushiony on the bottom. I've only washed them a few times but they have held up well so far. If I get decent life out of these socks, I'll definitely buy more.
