Not very low-cut, stretches out as the day goes on

Ok, silly low-cut sock comparison review. Hopefully this is helpful for people trying to find actual low-cut socks, because finding a good pair was harder than it should've been. I've been trying to find a good pair to wear with my flats, to keep them in good shape for longer and stop them from getting stinky. Here are the styles I tried and their results: - SHEEC - SoleHugger SECRET Cotton: http://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00HRAXMSI/ : best - Hue Ultra Low Cut Liner Sock: http://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00CYAXZ0G/ : 2nd best - Hue Cotton Liner: http://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B006L3V6QC/ : 3rd best. soft cotton but not at all low-cut - Jays No Show Socks: http://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00FPU73EQ/ : worst. felt cheap, not low cut at all. It turns out that these Hue ultra low cut liners aren't super low-cut. The secret is to not stretch out the sock at all when you put them on. Embrace the fact that they don't go over the sides of your foot - then you're OK. If you do kind of pull them over the sides of your foot (like I did the first few times I wore them), they'll start creeping up the top of your foot and show well above the edge of your shoes. Aside from that, they're mostly nylon based so they're more on the slippery side than cotton. Overall, for $1 more per pair, I'd go with the Sheec. They also come with coupons for future purchases, so that helps. Hope this helps!

I purchased the HUE Ultra Low Cut No Show socks ...

I purchased the HUE Ultra Low Cut No Show socks in a size S/M. I wear a Size 6 shoe and these barely fit my foot. I would suggest if you wear larger than a 6 to buy a larger size. These fit just over your toes and over your heel, they don't go over the sides of your feet. They do have a rubber oval on the back to keep them from slipping off of your foot. They do not show with any of the shoes I've worn them with. I will say that $12.00 seems a little high for 2 pairs of little itty-bitty-barely-a-sock socks.

Finally found what I was looking for!

This is the first time in a long time I've been able to FINALLY find low cut socks that actually work! They still show in some flats, but much less than any other low cut socks that I've tried and I just kind of tuck a little more of the fabric into the sides or under my foot to fix that. So depending on the shoe they will still show a little, but to be honest with as much as I've searched I think most if not all will show a little. They're very comfortable thin fabric, but they feel sturdy and well made. They have a plastic grip in the back that keeps them from slipping off the back of your foot, which actually works compared to others with that same feature that I've used. I'm very happy with this purchase and will repurchase when needed.

No slippage!

I love to wear ballet flats but obviously wearing traditional socks looks goofy. I had been using Steve Madden liners and they were okay but constantly slipped off of my feet. I felt like I couldn't walk five feet without having to slide the heel of the liner back on. I decided to try HUE since they were reasonably priced and had the silicone backing for staying in place. A couple of full day wears and I didn't have to slide them back on once. The only downside to the product is that if you have wide/larger feet the coverage isn't as great on the sides.

Good but not great

These socks are good, but not perfect as they still show a little bit with some of my shoes. However, they do stay up really well. I wore them on a three mile walk and had no slippage on the heel. I didn't have to re-adjust them at all and there was no uncomfortable rubbing. So, if they were slightly lower cut on the toe and a bit less expensive, I would have given an additional star.

I like that they start off very low & hidden

I like that they start off very low & hidden. however, as the day goes on & your feet get hot, the material seems to stretch a bit & the next thing you know they are poking out of the top of your shoes. Just a few fixes through the day to hide them. overall, I'd probably buy them again b/c there aren't many other options out there. They stayed on the heel perfectly fine.
