Excellent results for framing on the cheap

After considering many framing options including building my own poster frames, I bought these because it was the most cost-effective of options. They look good and a standard cut 24" x 36" poster will fit in them perfectly. I would buy these again, and may in the future for another project. I ordered a 6 pack of these frames; they come bundled in sets of 2, wrapped together in plastic, altogether in a large box with extra styrofoam to protect them in shipping, and marked as Fragile. Despite this, two of the frames arrived with minor edge damage on the acrylic under the frame edge - nothing against the manufacturer or the product, that's on the shipping company and something you might encounter, even though I would consider packaging as adequate. This damage is not visible with the frame edges in place. However, one of the frames that had the edge damage also had a crack near the center of the acrylic, on a frame packed behind another inside of its wrap. A second set of these frames had the protective film damaged in the exact same spot that did not crack the acrylic, and looks to be something that happened during the initial packaging of the frames. Damage was minor enough that I felt it did not warrant a return; the poster I chose for that frame obscures the damage. (See photos for comparison of appearance at distance / close-up.) The rest of the frames arrived pristine. The frames look good, were easy to assemble and slide a poster into - the frame edges just slide off, remove the photo insert from between the backing and the acrylic, remove the thin film protecting the face side of the acrylic in a satisfying manner, line up the poster with the acrylic, replace the backing and slide the frame edges back on to reassemble. Due to the flexibility of the acrylic the frames had a very subtle bowing forward that prevents them from sitting completely flush with the wall, something that can be ironed out on a flat surface with some weight on its face, but wasn't necessary for me to do.

Perfect fit

I had been looking in stores for frames that would fit our Harry Potter Diamond Dot "paintings" that we did during the pandemic (a long time I know. I had many lazy moments) and just couldn't find the right size. The paintings are a weird size depending on if I wanted the full thing with the white trim or just the black. I finally gave up and went to Amazon and these are perfect! The frame comes off on all four sides that you then slide back into place like a puzzle. It confused me at first but worked better for the pieces in the long run. If I ever get any other diamon dots in weird sizes I know where to look.

Great for 22'x28" Poster Boards

Lighweight but holds my "Dream Board" i made on 22"x28" posterboard from the kraft store! The Black Plastic frame edges slide on a plastic/plexiglass+cardboard that are on both sides of the poster board i inserted...snug and fits great!

Difficult to assemble plexi warps

Difficult to put together, you need to push the frame sides onto the plexi and cardboard, and hope your poster isn't millimeters too large. The plexiglass front bows outward no matter what you try to do, so the final product looks like a bubble.

Great quality for the price

These frames were significantly cheaper than any I could find locally. They are good quality and are really exactly what I needed for my kids posters.

Arrived broken, kept because it’s so cheap

Both frames that came in arrived broken. And while at first it seems like it could be the couriers fault it is pretty clear the packaging came with minimal protection for the acrylic plate. One fracture on it is bad enough where I would not recommend the purchase although it is accentuated by how minimal the poster I was trying to frame is. On top of all of that the assembly for this is a pain in the ass. Getting the poster, cardboard backing, and acrylic to all line up precisely takes a bit of tries especially if you get the larger sized frame. Alas the only saving grace is how much cheaper this is than other frames. It’s so cheap that I’m not gonna bother with the hassle of returning it although it’s definitely worth returning. Do not expect anything of quality from this purchase, it is the absolute bare minimum implementation of a frame. All of this lands the product at a mediocre 3 stars although I’d give it 2.5 if I could award fractional stars.

Cheap and simple

This works alright if you have something that fits the frame exactly. I have two pieces that I've tried in the set of two frames received and the one that fits the 18x24 looks very nice and was easy to hang, the one that is slightly smaller needed a few layers behind it to keep it from skewing within the frame after hanging it. The edges fall off very easily so don't hang it anywhere it might get bumped a lot and you might like a hand while putting them together to make things go faster and easier.

Worst purchase I’ve made on Amazon

These frames are of very poor quality. Cheap and flimsy. I am very disappointed in this product, had I have seen these in person I would never had purchased them for that price.

Simple, lightweight, good enough

Fair quality but worth to buy if you prefer just simple and lightweight. It is great to me and enough. Lucky to get a perfect one.

Bent and cracked

The first time I bought those poster frames, it was okay, I guess. It was to frame my puzzles and since I didn’t want to pay 100$ for a frame, I thought that those would do. I bought 2 more and this time, like so many other people commented, it came bent. One of them is warped, the other one is warped AND cracked. They’re unusable to me. Buying them is like a lottery, sometimes you get lucky and everything is fine but other times…

Dollar Store Frames

I am actually appalled at the quality of these frames. I bought four of them, and all four have scuff marks all across the cheap thin plastic. And yes I took off the plastic coating. They are so thin, and really hard to get all four sides of the cheap plastic frames on. I would expect something like this to cost $1.50, and if I'd paid $1.50, I would have thrown them in the garbage. Unfortunately I paid a lot more than that. These are truly awful frames. Don't waste your money. Edit I just damaged a $75 print trying to get the frames on. I'm furious that someone wasn't more honest in their reviews about this frame. If it had an average of one star that would be generous.

Damage to Items

I really like these simple frames. But, when I ordered them either multiple frames has the sticker warning about the protective coating NOT on the side with the protective coating, which caused damage to the plastic. Or, the plastic was cracked and damaged when it arrived at my house. I am incredibly disappointed in the seller and Amazon and expect higher quality from them.
