Best value for engineers tape in its class.

I work in the dirt every day. This means my tape measures don't last more than a month. It doesn't matter if I buy a $45 tape or a $4 tape. They all see the same fate. Even though I go through them often, I don't like to get super cheap ones because, I'm a professional and well I need 10th and inches, those are not as cheap. This tape measurer for $12 is high quality, and well made. It's one of the better values you will find for a tape measurer. It's not super light which I don't like but it's durable. The coating on the tape is particularly nice and of good quality. I can get 2 25 ft fatmaxs for $19.50 at home depot sometimes and I really like though value wise but I can't get it in tenths. So far this is the best one I have found.

not as durable as it looks

Purchased to use for land surveying. Within one months time, one of the crew members brought one back in damaged while in the field. They only grated a months time for return. Not good!

Hands down best hand tape for a construction surveyor!

I've owned a few of these tapes over my career as a surveyor. They've never let me down but they somehow came up missing on job sites. These tapes are hands down a 100% improvement over Lufkin. They are very smooth and not clunky in the slightest regard when pulling and retracting the tape. The background color is very bright and makes the measurement stand out and extremely easy to read. The price is even cheaper than the Lufkin. You'll be very happy with your purchase!

just got my 7th one not due to them breaking but everyone else also thinks its a good tape as well u set this fu**er down for to long some one on the job site will deff swoop it up so i recomend keeping your eye on it. but for 12 bucks its not bad has tenths so it works for what I need.
