This Moen smart faucet is a game changer in the kitchen.
We recently replaced our main kitchen faucet, the bar/prep sink and a drink faucet with these Moen products. It was relatively easy (all plumbing installs have their own little issues like shut off valves and hoses) and was easy to connect to our Alexa. We have had great success so far. I recommend that you read and follow the install instructions carefully for installation and setup. Connecting the faucets to the app and to Alexa is pretty straight forward but again, read carefully before you dive in. If you do that, I think you will enjoy your Moen faucets as much as we do.

Unnecessary for most. High quality with attractive water flow. Pointless without optional filter
If you're looking to own this kind of faucet, and are ok with the modern style, then this is excellent. That is particularly true if you own or are installing a matching Moen Kurv faucet and/or have a hole in your granite where a spray nozzle once was. For most, a separate faucet for drinking water is unnecessary and results in a cumbersome setup many would find unattractive. This is a pricey solution to a problem most people don't have, and for those who do have this problem... the optional filter really should be standard. Replacements for their filter - as priced - would certainly provide Moen with steady stream of revenue. That said, this will work with any (more affordable) filtration system, but likely not with the flashy reminder light on the faucet base. That light is wired to the, again, optional filtration system. I will be using this in a wet bar at my family's vacation home in Florida. The water can be quite jarring there if you aren't used to it. I will be installing a third party filtration system in concert with this faucet, as Moen's filtration option doesn't seem to represent a good value. That said, if you would like a drinking water faucet, this is a very elegant option. It's, of course, up to Moen's standards, the fit and finish are superb and it features a nice feel to the handle. The stream of water is steady and unbroken, unlike a normal diffused faucet. The water follows the arc of the faucet in a graceful way, producing something almost like a laminar flow nozzle.

Moen Quality, But Not for Reverse Osmosis
When I think of a beverage faucet, I think of reverse osmosis. That is the only way to do most of the meaningful water filtration that distinguishes the water from tap water. Unfortunately, Moen has their basic charcoal filtration system in mind for this and has no adapters available or advised (I spoke with them) for reverse osmosis. Their support will be no help, but I'm sure you can find the right parts if you just need this faucet rather than another that is designed for RO. The main thing to keep in mind is that many sellers of adapters do not properly list the US sizes. This is a 3/8" compression connection, which is not the same size as other 3/8" fittings. With that out of the way, this is a very nice faucet. The base does look a little cheesy and out of place with the filter light on it. That can be turned around and it looks okay. The matte black finish is exceptional. I find that Moen finishes are always nicer in person than Grohe. The metal feels heavy and the movement is smooth. Installation uses the typical Moen tool, which makes it a breeze both going on and coming off. If you want a non-filtered water faucet or one for use with a charcoal filter for reducing off flavors in municipal water, this is a very nice companion to the KURV pull-down faucet. If you want RO for chlorine, fluoride, and other contaminant removal, you may find this frustrating to install.

Beautiful faucet with a modern touch
This is the high quality I’ve come to expect from Moen. I’ve always had Moen fixtures and products in my kitchens and bathrooms, so I obviously kept that trend when remodeling my house. This faucet is being used in my kitchen and it’s a perfect, no frills chrome faucet with a very high arc that allows me to fit anything I need underneath (such as buckets, bowls, watering cans, etc.) Be mindful when you purchase this one that you know this doesn’t have a pull-down feature. This is just a standard faucet. It looks so similar to the pull-down version that I almost ordered the wrong one by mistake. The black color offers a nice modern touch that’s understated but represents an intentional choice. No one ends up with a black faucet by accident. And yet this one disappears into the space immediately, as it should. The handle works smoothly and has just the right amount of tension, making it easy to lock in a temperature and then shut off the water. Pull the lever out to turn the water back on and it gives you the same temperature you left off with. I’m a lifelong fan of this brand, and this faucet did not disappoint.

Simple, Elegant, High-Quality
This is a beautiful faucet from Moen, like most of their faucets. What I specifically like is the elegant, sleek, slim design language. The stems are slim, then blossoms out at the end like bell bottom jeans. The handle is slim, but the quality is high and the material is strong and the operation is sturdy and stable. The matte black coating also allows it to collect more dust and gunk before needing to be cleaned. I just do simple wipe-downs after it gets wet, and then do a more thorough cleaning each week. Water spots aren't as bad as on shiny finishes such as chrome. And matte black is also more corrosive and rust resistant. Moen has high quality premium faucets, so this one at less than $400 is actually a pretty good deal relatively to many Moen faucets, so it's a five-star rating and an easy recommendation for me.

Good reputation and overpriced.
I selected this attractive faucet because I believed Moen has a good reputation and it’s a good quality brand. My husband on the other hand, also ordered a different brand, similar modern look faucet, for 1/3 of the cost, and worked just as well. This Moen faucet seem overpriced by comparison.
