Finding a breakaway cat collar in a nice emerald-green or Kelly-green proved much more difficult than I'd have expected... But this Circadelic Green Designer Collar by Red Dingo does the job quite nicely! The clasp has held-up nicely too, and Kitty has been wearing the Pod 3 Pet Tracker attached to it, which adds significantly bulk and weight, which theoretically might prompt some cats to try & remove the collar, but so far so good, and the price is crazy cheap!

My cat almost died today
We've had this collar for exactly one month today. This morning my son came up to tell me that the cat was drooling a lot. Our cat was poisoned a few months ago with contaminated water, so I assumed that this was a new side effect. I was going to take a look at her when I came downstairs, but she came up. She was acting pretty normal, but her meow sounded weird. I picked her up to look at her and noticed that she could not close her mouth. Her mouth was wide open, and she was drooling everywhere. I couldn't tell if there was an injury at first, and I thought maybe our dog had attacked her or something. I texted my husband to tell him that something was seriously wrong with the cat. I then picked her up again to take another look and decided to check her collar. It was instinct, as I had no reason to think her collar had anything to do with it. It turned out that her collar had snagged on something, I guess, because that turned out to be the problem. Her collar was constricting her throat so tightly that her jaw couldn't close! I had to yell for my son to come hold her because I couldn't get the collar to come off, even though it is supposed to be a breakaway collar. It took me pulling as hard as I could with both hands to get the collar to release. Only leather breakaway collars for us from now on! There is no reason for any collar to be in this condition after only a month!

Durable, breakaway design for cats. A MUST ha e feature in any collars you’re putting on your feline friend! Vibrant colors, would recommend to anyone!

My cat Yoshi, who this collar was clearly made for, pulled it off after my friend loosened it, so I may need a new one, but I'd want it a little thinker since Yoshi is kind of fluffy in the hair
