Super comfortable and warm!

Wow, I LOVE these. I bought them in September and haven't had a change to wear them yet, but just took them to the snow and they are perfect! My feet haven't been cold at all, and we ever did a little walk/hike one day and they held up perfectly. I'll be taking them on dirt hikes soon and will be sad for them to get dirty, but they're so comfortable that I don't want to wear anything else. As for the size: I normally wear a size 9.5 because I like my shoes snug. I got a 10 and they fit perfectly. Some people mentioned the inner "sock" that you have to get your foot into first -- it is kind of tight to get on without it getting pushed to the bottom of the shoe, but not that bad. I don't even think about it after I get them on.

Comfortable boot

This is nice hiking boot with a lot of support. That being said, the sock liner makes it’s difficult to get on and off. Even for a hiking boot, I found it cumbersome. For me that was a dealbreaker, but if you have the patience, it’s an extremely well made & comfortable boot. Runs true to size.

Order your usual size!

I love these shoes. I unfortunately followed the advice of some and purchased a half size larger. No need to do that. My normal size would have been perfect! That’s fine, though. I’m still keeping them, since they are out of my size and I need the shoes for a trip next week.

NArrow footbed even for a person with narrow feet

I bought these on Amazon instead of the Cole Haan site and thank god I did. I have narrow, small feet, so I was already skeptical when the reviewers were saying to order a 1/2 size to almost a whole size up. I obliged and went to a 7.5 instead of my usual 6.5 from Cole Haan. The 7.5 fit! And yes the shoe is gorgeous, would be sort of a bummer to take them on hikes lol But after trying them on they were forcing the outer part of my feet up, like I had ordered a narrow shoe, but I hadn't, on purpose so as to have a nice sized footbed. Has anyone else experienced this? Did they 'relax' on the sides after wear? I really love these shoes and want to keep them, but I will be wearing them on hikes in Alaska and Sydney, not just regular walking around. The last thing I need are blisters...

Love the fit and the look

These are the most comfortable hiking shoes I have tried. These are true to Cole Haan's sole quality. They fit perfectly. I highly recommend these tall hikers (the short sneaker type of the same model were way too loose on the heel and were rubbing off). These I love. Didn't test waterproofing though yet.

Love these shoes. Soft, comfortable and easy on the feet
