Narrower and longer than expected
First off, Cole Haan, generally speaking have been great shoes for me personally, and these also look nice and could be worn with a variety of styles. So here's the bad...it's narrow...really narrow. I bought a wide because I'm right on the cusp of medium and wide widths, and most of my shoes are still medium width, but these looked like they could be a little narrow, so I played it safe. These were so narrow I had a fairly difficult time putting them on. I ended up using a show horn, but after wearing them for an eight hour work day where I'm sitting most of the time, they stretched out and loosend up slightly, and I put in shoe trees over night, and that seemed to help as well. They also long, so the fit there wasn't good either and it rubbed my heal a good amount to the point I had to moleskin on, the next day to wear another much better fitting shoes I have. So just be aware they are very narrow a little long. I suppose it's the risk you take, buying online without having tried them on before hand. Will see if I can return them, and if not I'll try and sell them.

Chose over CH Carter Grand Split - Needed 1/2 Size Up
8 month Update: I mentioned that I bought up a half size. I'm still happy with that decision. These shoes did take a while to totally break in, particularly near where one's toes flex, but now I am very happy with them. The leather finish keeps nicely, including the sides of the rubber soles. Original Review: I purchased these in black, size 10M. They replace an old pair of Bostonians, also with an all rubber sole but of lower quality. I also purchased CH Carter Grand Split Oxford (leather sole) to compare. Both CH shoes are very nice. The Lennox Hill has a longer, pointer toe and the leather has more of a satin finish compared to the Carter Grand Split, which has a high gloss finish and perhaps superior leather quailty. I kind of liked the shape of Grand Carter better, but the satin finish ultimately won out and I chose to keep the Lennox Hill. I have worn them several times now. No squeaking on smooth floors (wet or dry). No bloody ankles or emergency room trips as some reviews might have you think. They do require some break-in but they are not causing me discomfort during this period. A given shoe design will not fit everyone. Don't keep shoes that don't feel somewhat comfortable to begin. I normally wear a 9.5 but went up a half size because of another CH pair I purchased last year and found to be slightly small. I would say they run a half size small. The width is just right for me. I also like the rubber sole, mated to leather or similar look material to provide a traditional look fro the side. I find rubber more forgiving and the toe tip lasts much longer, a place I normally wear out quickly with a leather sole. I'm happy with my purchase and Cole Hahn has become a go-to shoe for me.

Good quality, greta price
Very nice shoes, they are comfy and well built. The only issue I have so far is the upper leather portion tends to sag and make a depression near the laces.

Slim fitting
This shoe is very narrow. I typically wear a 10 and knowing that Cole Haan are slim fitting I ordered a 10.5 wide. They fit snug enough that I decided to return them.
