Quality control issues?

I've ordered this product four times. All four were of the same size, but the ankle elastic on two of them are smaller which bites into my ankle area. The other two are fine.

Perfect base layer for long underwear!!

I love this long underwear!! Super lightweight and comfortable!! I had a pair of these for years and literally wore them until they wore out!! I work in a power plant where it's 80 degrees in January inside while it's 20 degrees outside! This long underwear is perfect for adding an extra layer without sweating to death in a Hot Power Plant in the winter. And if I have to go outside(which is all the time) I just put on a pair of insulated coveralls and I'm good to go!!

Decent but I expected these to be thicker

I purchased this base layer pant to go with the base layer shirt. I wore it in 28 degree weather under my jeans and snow suit. I was over dressed a little but the material did wick the sweat away from me and I didn't get that typical chill after sitting for a while. The material is stretchy and it fits snug against the skin. The set together did keep me warm and the fit was just right. I would call these mid-weight and not heavy-weight. Meaning... I wouldn't expect these to keep me comfortable below zero degrees unless I really layer on top. The material is about as thick as a T shirt. One layer is very thin. So thin you can pretty much see through it. Once I get a chance to try out the set in even colder weather I will update my review. Until then, buy it for teens and higher temps or layer up on top for even colder temps.

Nice thermals

Really nice thermals. Perfect for mild temp weather i.e. high 40's-50's. Do not inhibit movement when working outside as they are nice and light and thin while still providing some insulation & keeping your body heat in. Very soft feeling as well. I can't stand poly but the cotton/ poly combo ( 60 cotton)on these has a lot of cotton so if you are like me and hate poly, no worries on these. Size is pretty accurate. I wear 33 waist and these are about right. I used to buy Hanes and Fruit of the Loom years ago but the quality on those things now is horrible as they farm them out to any third world country that bids lowest. Not sure where these are made as I threw the outer package away and can not read inside printing. Nevertheless, they suit me fine and I am fairly picky.

Purchased 2 Pair! Great Fit!

I purchased two pair of the ColdPruf Men's Basics - one for my husband and one for my teen son. They both love the outdoors, but are always freezing. My son is 5'9 and about 140 lbs. He wears a size 31 jeans. I chose the medium and they were perfect. He went into the city to go ice skating and he said how great they were! He wore them under jeans and the wind didn't get to him like it normally does. They wash great! I came back today to purchase an extra pair for him. In the winter months, he shovels a lot of snow so this should help keep him comfortable.

Me ayudó a salir de un apuro

El producto es ropa interior diseñada para mantener la temperatura, es de algodón y material sintético, está bien fabricada, no es tan gruesa, aunque si la piensas usar con pantalones muy pegados quizá si te sientas incómodo. No es la más caliente que puede existir, pero si funciona, me agradó, en cuanto al ajuste, compré talla Grande y me quedó muy bien, no tuve problema para meter los pies ni nada (varios mencionan problemas) si les sirve como referencia soy talla 34 en Jeans y mido 1.83m.

Muy buen producto

Muy buen producto, cómodo y realmente te protege del frió, estuve a 0 grados con solo un pantalón encima y no sentí frío, no da calor extremo simplemente te mantiene en la temperatura adecuada y te ayuda a poder realizar tus actividades en el exterior. No te hace sudar mucho por lo que no te dará problemas fue probado en los bosques de canda, en caso de lavarlo no cuesta mucho trabajo.

Wearing them right now for Toronto's Early march cold

Right now, it's the first week of March, and the temperatures are super chilly with a vicious wind chill. And these pants make it feel like there's no wind at all. I am wearing them under sweatpants and it feels like a second skin that doesn't care about the cold. I've even worn it snowboarding under some very thick snow pants and I didn't sweat at all. Even though it was the top of Mount Tremblant, and it was really cold. I was neither freezing nor too hot. I just wish I could get it a bit cheaper and buy 2 or 3 more. But quality deserves its money. Super comfy, breathable, and stays up. Not much bad to say about it.

Pretty Much Your Basic Long Johns

These are pretty much your Basic Long Johns, 60% cotton and 40% polyester. I bought them during a cold spell in January when the temperature was hovering around -39 to -44ºC . As a base layer these johns keep me warm. They're machine washable but tend to pill up a bit in the dryer if you leave them in too long. Speaking of long .... that's my only complaint with these. I'm only 5'6" and do fit these a bit big and long in the crotch. I often have this problem with long johns and wish they would make a low rise style. Overall I like these. They are your basic everyday long johns, well made, warm and inexpensive ... what more could you want. I would buy them again.

Material is soft but thin, should be warm enough for southern Ontario places like Toronto but northern Ontario through Quebec you might need johns a little heavier Sizing is accurate I'm 5ft-7in with a 36 inch waist and medium fits perfect
