Must be screwed into door
I love the ridges that keep the clothes hangers separated. Be aware that you DO have to screw it into the top of the door. Otherwise when you turn it to the side the whole thing tips over and falls off. That is my only complaint because I can't move it around as needed without getting a step ladder and unscrewing it. It is sturdy and holds lots of clothes.

A little chintzy but still useful
I can understand what all the other bad reviews are talking about. This is certainly made to fit over an exact door size, not really a general purpose item. If you know what you're getting into and our little handy, it's really a great bang for the buck. I was planning on fastening it to a door rather than hanging it, so I proceeded with the purchase. I ended up grinding the metal at the top where the door hook is supposed to cleanly break off. It left some pretty ugly and sharp burrs. I also had to do a little bit of bending and sanding on the wire part of the product to allow it to move freely. It kept on binding up and catching on the paint. I appreciate the wavy bottom hanger separator things. Without them, hanging clothes would be all over the place. I have these on my laundry closet door and every load that can't go in the dryer goes on these hooks, so far they have held up a great and I do enjoy using them

A little disappointed.
I purchased this over the door hanger to take with me on trips, however, it doesn't work in a temporary manner and would fall off the door with nothing on it. I guess it would be good if it is screwed into the door (the screws come with it) but to take on trips only it doesn't work. I probably didn't read the full description and so can only blame myself for the problem. Be advised though that this hanger needs to be fastened to the door and is not an independent type hanger.

If I follower the installation directions this one is OK. Made of painted steel
I should have investigated this one more. To properly use this one it fits over the top of the door but needs to be screwed in place to be usable. What I did not think about is the arm you hang stuff on swings from side to side. If it is not screwed to the door, the leverage of the arm with or without contents will cause it to come off the door. In its favor, it comes with screws and holes predrilled to either fasten it to the back of the door or top of the door either of which would be out of sight depending on the door and which holes you use. I would expect it to work fine. I lowered my ratings because I was not willing to use the screws.

I bought this a few times-my sisters saw it and gifted a few for them- is very handy to organize laundry as you take clothes out the dryer, or just to dry things. Very sturdy, good quality.

Meets the baseline expectation
The over-door hook is wider than most doors. Great for fitting a wide range of doors, but when the hanger arm is folded back, the weight of it causes the over-door hook to slide/shift and the whole unit falls off the door. I had to apply some double-sided tape to it to keep it from moving so now I can't relocate it to a different door. Also, the hanger arm is not "fixed" to the over-door hook. It very easily comes out when you're trying to hang the first item. All you have to do is bump it and it falls to the floor. Sure, it works at the most basic level, and it's cheap, but it could have been a lot better.

expandable storage in the laundry room
better than the plastic clothespin racks that hold stuff to airdry; this is sturdy and works over the washing machine to hold smaller items that need to airdry, but folds against the wall when not in use.

Satisfied
I have a tiny laundry room and hanging the utility hooks over the door saved space tremendously. Now my brooms, swiffers and mops are neat and accessible. I read some reviews that complained the rack sometimes falls off the hook but I super glued them together with no issue.

Great product
Product is a really good idea. Fits perfect over the door and also comes with screws to hold the station in place if necessary. Feels quite sturdy so hopefully it'll last a long time.

hooks over door nicely, keeps iron and ironing board out of the way. when i open the cupboard door the iron no longer falls on my head :)

Doesn't scratch doorframe
Great! Came quickly and is lightweight. The best part is that it doesn't scratch the doorframe like most over-the-door hangers. Edit: I'm very disappointed the price has increased so much. I bought these for $9.97 multiple times before the price hiked up.
