Great Value

I have only worn it a few times, but it’s a nice fit. I wanted something to use as almost a sweater, to throw on for a chilly morning or a restaurant with the A/C too high. It works perfectly for those conditions.

Sleeves are too long

The quality of the piece is very good and what was expected. The size did run small compared to a previous same labeled fleece purchased previously. However, the sleeves are at at least 4.5 - 5" too long! Absurdly long and totally disproportionate to the size. Had to have it tailored which will make me think twice about future purchases from Amazon Essentials.

Solid value.

It’s a great value. It is, hands down, the absolute, most average fabric and the cut is extremely middle of the road, but it’s essentially exactly what I wanted. You’ll love it. I bought it to fit under a denim trucker jacket and/or to be used as a house jacket. It’s great for either. I am 6’2” and about 190 and the medium is the right size for me. I first bought a large and it was really loose on me. Amazon has a pre-configured return protocol for people who buy the wrong size, so they already put the medium in the mail before I had wrapped up the large to be returned. Very efficient. The medium arrived with an air freshener fragrance, which I assume is what they do when someone returns one and they plan to send it back out. The large had no smell. I just washed it before wearing; you have to admire that they have such a robust system for returns. They can’t just throw them out because they didn’t fit. I’ll probably buy another one since it doesn’t make sense to have a sweatshirt that you’d use to wear around the house AND out on the mean streets of suburbia.

I have to return this!

Not only does this run so small that it is tight on me, it also has a seam around the collar that is like a strip of sandpaper rubbing against my neck which makes it totally uncomfortable to wear! I have returned this item.

Good fleece to keep warm

Pros Comfortable. Has a full zipper making taking it on and off easy. Zip side pockets for easy storage or keeping hands warm. Doesn't fit too snug so you can layer underneath on the real cold days. Also big enough so that you layer underneath. Cons There were a lot of extra length loose threads (easy fix with some scissors) Not a real flattering fit. It fits loose in the body section, which makes it comfortable to wear, but makes it look less slimming. Black color shows lint very well so don't forget the dryer sheets.

Restored my samity

I've tried 6 different zipper sweaters, and began to wonder if I was just too crazy-fussy. This has reassured me of my sanity! This is what I wanted. It is soft, particularly important around the neck when the sweater has a full-length zipper. The XL size was perfect for me (190 lbs, 6 foot, average build, with a medium-weight shirt or sweatshirt underneath. It has a good waist length (as pictured in the ad) and good circumference for me (I have a 38" waist). The sleeves are not overly long; rolled up once at the cuffs was perfect. Blue color was a dark navy blue. The zipper was sturdy, and pulls up on the right side. (Several of the sweaters I tried were described as "Men's" but the zipper pulled up on the left, woman's, side by U.S. custom.) It is medium weight, so I can wear it around the house or outside if I feel a bit chilly. It is not really warm or heavy for colder weather. It has two deep zipper pockets. The price of $25 was very reasonable. Yes, I'm happy I found this. I will follow the washing instructions (machine wash cold; dry low) because I want this to last.
