Well made. But awkward.

Well made. A bit of a pain to put on if buckling in the back. I'm used to the cloth version of this belt which has an easy clip buckle. Might be a good idea to incorporated that into the leather version. Front tape measure pouch is too small to fit the larger Fat Max tapes. Been using this for a few weeks and the tape pouch hasn't stretched much. Make it a little bigger and this would be a great tool belt! UPDATE: After a year of use, I hate this pouch. It hasn't stretched at all to fit a tape measure in the middle pocket. The hammer holder is a pain and I can't hang a cordless drill anywhere. Absolutely HATE this pouch. Going to purchase the cloth pouch by this manufacturer.

Building Pros Beware

I'm a building professional and used to have what I thought was this very same toolbelt by CLC. My old belt was stolen so I sought a replacement with this one, however there was one huge difference: the old model had an adequately sized leather pouch front and center right where you want it for easy access to the tape measure, an item more or less in constant use throughout the day. When you look at the belt as pictured on Amazon you're looking at a Stanley 25' tape measure in the center pouch. This is exactly the tape I prefer and have used over the past 40 yrs in the trades. Problem is THE POUCH IS TOO SMALL TO FIT A STANLEY 25' TAPE MEASURE!!!!!! You literally have to wrestle the tape out of the pouch every single time you need it! The work is hard enough, wrestling with your tape measure all day long is so much of a monumental non starter I don't think I need to offer any further emphasis. This belt was designed by morons, if I could give it 10 minus stars I wouldn't hesitate. It's actually fraudulent business practice (false advertising) to display this belt with that tape measure in it.

SO bad but good

I live in Korea in Asia It's very inconvenient to exchange returns I ordered two pieces, but they all have weak hammer hangers. I just decided to write. But the object itself is wonderful and wonderful.

Maybe for weekend warriors, but not for professional use.

Would love it if it held up. The reviews were mostly positive which is why we purchased this for my husband. On the first day of use, one of the hammer loops fell off (the one with the retractable hinge). A few weeks later some of the stitching came loose that held one of the pockets together. Now, two months later, the entire thing is falling apart making it unwearable during work. There is a 30-day return window. I will try and appeal to the company to let us exchange it but based on another reviewer's experience, I'm not holding my breath, which is why I'm rating this one star. I will update this review with my results but at this time I absolutely cannot recommend this tool belt for professional use.

Horrible.

By far the worst tool belt I’ve ever owned. The pockets are way to tight causing everything to jab you in the side. You can’t even put your hands in them to find anything. The hammer spring holder is faulty. I’m 5’8 170lbs solid as a rock and am using the last holes on the belt and it’s still too loose. The tape measure pocket in front is a pain every time you need it. Bottom line- it’s not a good product and now I have to suffer everyday. ????????????

Amazing quality tool belt!

I was constantly fretting over misplacing my tools, so my thoughtful wife sought this out as a Christmas gift. I love it! The leather is excellent, the pockets are just what you need and i love that it has 2 hammer loops. It's quite comfortable. I'm no contractor but i soend my weekends working on our barn or house, and this has been such a Blessing. Had other tool belts in the past that never came close. 5 Star!

great product, high quality, also got suspenders with them that also work good. great rig altogether. heavy duty leather. looks like it will hold up longer than the suede type. the tape holder in the center works great with the oversized tapes.. I use a fatmax extreme 35' and it fits in there loose. tool pockets work great, pouches are deep, and hold their form. the belt that it comes with is also a heavy duty belt. definately recommend this product, especially over the entry level one.

Look good while you do good

Favorite present I gave my husband. Jonathan Scott, one half of the duo on the hit show "Property Brothers", wears a tool belt similar in pattern to this one. If my husband can look as good as Jonathan in his tool belt, maybe he can make use of the tool belt as well as Jonathan. The belt is make of a thick durable leather.
