Check the size!

This is a very nice little bowl, but I should have read the entire description. I thought it looked like the two small/medium bowls I have for my cats, but it is actually smaller than my Corelle cereal bowl. I will keep it but I need to be more observant! ????

Great for food prep

These bowls are advertised as for pets, but I use them for food prep and as snack bowls all the time and they work great. Easy to clean too. Highly recommend.

Quality bowls

I'm a stickler for streamlining and organization. We have a few small pets & it used to be a hassle changing and washing different bowls daily. I bought a bunch of these for kibble and a larger size for water. Now switching out bowls is faster and more efficient. I can easily stack these along the top rack of the dishwasher along with the larger ones. Keeping my pets food and water supplies clean is no longer a chore & I can do it in a few minutes. These are lightweight steel and I've found them to hold up well. I recommend these and the other sizes of this brand's bowls.

The 8 oz cat bowl is perfect for our 11 lb. Shih Tzu!

I was looking for a shallow, stainless bowl that would fit into the size small Platinum Pets Single Olympic Diner which I had purchased here on Amazon. We had been trying to find something to keep our 11 lb. Shih Tzu's ears out of the bowl when she eats. Because she is not a water drinker, we have to add water to her kibble. Feeding was causing a big mess, because the bowl that came with the Platinum diner was too deep. As our pup stuck her head into the bowl, the ears flopped in too. This Van Ness 8 oz. cat bowl has worked out so well. We like the Platinum Diner stand because it is at a nice level for our pup. Now, with the shallow bowl, her ears fall to the sides of the bowl, instead of falling into the bowl. Win win!!!! No longer do I have to wash her ears after eating, and no more stinky eared dog, which was a problem even though I was trying to wipe her ears clean after each meal. Very, very happy with my purchase!!! As for those complaining about the stickers, let me tell you what happened to me. First I ordered one, to make sure it would work. The sticker on that one just peeled up nicely with no glue left behind. I just figured there were enough complaints and the problem has been resolved. Once we knew the bowl was going to work for us, I purchased two more. Well, guess what? These had the problem many others mentioned: glue that was hard to get off. What we did was poured some Purell on the glue and let it set for awhile. Then we used a plastic scraper (I used a Pampered Chef one.)

Small, came dirty, can't be returned

Should have listened to the negative reviews! Small, will tip over at the drop of a hat, and there's some black discoloration on the inside bottom edge of the dish already, right out of the package! Be warned, I tried to return this immediately based on that last fact alone and Amazon states this item is not eligible for return.

Get dirty fast!!

Not so great. If you have hard water minerals from it will create a whitish mineral dirt ring around the bowls rim pretty much after a few uses. So you have to use a lot of effort to make them clean and smooth again. I use vinegar and baking soda however this is not ideal and I am not happy with quality.

Good bowls for wet food

Don’t understand why there is a sticker inside the bowl but I used some googone and it came off. Just annoying. Besides that dishwasher safe so far and the cats are happy

Lightweight

Really disappointed by these. For nearly $5 a bowl you would expect them to be a little heavier. Paid a $1 bowl in the US the last time we visited and the bowls were much more substantial. I can’t give my recommendation to buy these.
