Quality stainless but the removable ring needs to go
This is a nice solid stainless bowl and works well for our puppy. The rubber ring around the bottom collects a ton of gunk, dog slobber etc and can’t be effectively cleaned without removing it. It’s a real pain to put back on too. I finally just removed it and feed on a non Skid rubber mat. If it wasn’t for that ring I would have given it 5 stars.

Not for a cat
I wish this was in a smaller size meant for cats. My cat is allergic to plastic and I am having such a hard time finding a stainless/ceramic slow feeder that is the proper size for a cat. Although I didn't use it, the product looked to be good quality and sturdy and would have served its purpose... just wish it was cat-sized.

Dog Can't Chew It Up, But It Doesn't Slow Him Down Much
This bowl served half of the purpose I wanted it for. We were previously using a plastic slow feeder bowl, which needed to be removed from the dog as soon as he finished eating or he'd chew it up. This bowl solved the chewing problem (although he promptly removed the rubber ring), but doesn't slow down his eating enough. I need a metal bowl with more challenges to slow him even more.

Larger than I wanted....
There's that black rubber band around the perimeter. It wreaks. My cat wouldn't go near it until I removed it. Now he won't go near it because he hates having to put his whole muzzle in that space. I feel for him, because he enjoys eating, but this does stop him from gobbling. I hope he gets more used to it. Thus far it's been an ordeal. It's also larger than I would have liked, aesthetically anyway. It's a dog bowl that you can use for cats, not strictly a "cat" bowl. Maybe splitting hairs, but as an artist, form is equal to function.

Rubber Rim on bottom would not stay on
The black rubber rim came off the first day and is impossible to put back on, which is why I deducted a star.

Okay item
Works well to slow down eating, however, the rubber part of the plate stretches and falls off easily.

Great bowl!
This has really helped my lab not to eat too fast. Also with the rubber bottom, it doesn’t slide while he’s eating.

Fast eater slowed down a bit
Bought this for our new rescue who eats so fast he gets hiccups. Never having experienced this before, decided to try one of these bowls. It does look awfully large, but holds the food adequately. Not sure how much the pup cares for it but seemed to slow him down a bit. I was hoping for a big improvement.

Best slow bowl I found so far, but a few laws, nonetheless worth it.
The media could not be loaded. I bought the small, I feed wet food in the morning, dry mini local organic kibble 1/4 cup late afternoon and 1/4 cup evening. My mini doxies about 14lbs, tweeny and as you can see in the vid she tightens her stomach to vacuum the food. Usually, it's a less than 3sec food ingesting feed but with this bowl takes enough time not to choke on her food, at least 30secs. I tried high quality plastic bowls but they would shred inside from her fast eating and teeth griding on it. I go this on at around $17/small on special and it worth every penny. Cons: the plasticky rubber (not full rubber but at that price didn't expect better) is loose and won't last but does the job for now and the label in the middle is near imposible to remove without damaging the bowl. I soaked it overnight in soapy water and used a plastic spoon to scrap it off, but still got scratches on it. The manufacturer could use a better glue that peels with ease. I hope the stainless steel is of quality enough to last without rusting eventually. Also, that' s an amazon problem, it was shipping in a plastic envelope resulting in a few dings.

Works great and stops our cat from gobbling and vomiting
Great bowl that's easy to clean and stops our cat from shoveling down ALL his food and immediately vomiting. He previously would gulp down huge mouthfuls of kibble without even chewing! Now he can only remove small amounts of kibble at a time and eats slowly. It's time consuming enough that his food lasts the whole day keeping instead of him gobbling it down within minutes! The perfect size bowl for a 12lb cat (or smaller) or dog of similar size. Thanks for saving our cat's stomach!

Good size, and it's steel. Win win!
I ordered this, hoping that it would be big enough to hold enough food for my Weimaraner. He has gone through a few other slow feed bowls. The last one was a cool spiral shape that slowed him down nicely - but then the paint started peeling, so game over. This one is steel, so will last. I really don't care about the rubber anti-skid thing, as his bowl sits on a mat anyway. In fact, I would prefer if there wasn't a rubber ring to capture water and rot... It was not really clear how BIG this bowl would be, except that it is 48 ounces (not inches, of course). So here are some measurements... 13 inches diameter at the base, 9 inches inside the bowl. The hump in the middle is 4 1/2 inches. The bowl is 3 inches tall. I comfortably put 4 cups of water in, with just a little of the hump showing. Since I feed 2 cups, twice a day - I'm not at a risk of over filling the bowl. The picture with the black dog eating from the bowl is accurate. Sometimes photos are shared for wrong sizes. This bowl is a keeper. Hopefully it will slow the hoover down a bit when he eats.

My dog still pukes
We had a plastic slow feeder bowl that had a maze design and it worked amazingly. We had it for years, but my dog started getting a bad rash on his chin and no matter how much I washed his bowl, the rash kept getting worse so I had to switch to a metal bowl. This is the only design they make in metal bowls unfortunately, so I bought it. It worked for a month or so, but it seems he has now figured out how to eat faster and pukes after every meal just like he used to with regular bowls. So it’s not really that great for gluttonous dogs such as mine and I am now at a loss on what to do.

As described but didn’t work that well
It’s definitely as described; stainless steel, good size and easy to clean. However it did not work to stop my dog from eating too fast. Was trying something different than the plastic slow feeders but this one just isn’t “challenging” enough to stop a dog who eats too quickly. If you have a dog who REALLY loves his food, I’d recommend something with more obstacles in the bowl
