Nicer Than Expected!
I didn't expect a lot with this - I've had similar items that weren't that impressive - but this is a new and different design than the others I've seen, and I have to say I was impressed! The ONLY reason this didn't get five stars is, there is a small gap right at the spout, so it doesn't completely seal when you close it. Otherwise, this thing is pretty awesome! It's large enough to easily serve two. You just add the ingredients and push the button and you have yummy, frothy, hot chocolate! The carafe is attractive - well designed - easy to hold when you're ready to pour. It pours smoothly without dripping down the side. It keeps it hot for QUITE a while if you're only serving yourself, and I've found it pretty easy to clean as well. There just isn't anything bad to say about this handy little mixing pot - other than that tiny gap -but even with the gap, the liquid inside stays quite warm, so I don't even know if that's really bad - I thought maybe the gap was left on purpose to allow you to pour with the lid on - but if so, either I'm not doing it right, or it wasn't thought out well, because the gap is too tiny to really allow you to pour. Overall - four SOLID stars, and I absolutely recommend this item.

Does what it says it'll do, but not nearly worth the price
For a product that costs nearly $50 (at time of review), I feel like I was expecting more from this, even though it does exactly what it says. It is just a ceramic pitcher that has a special lid with a built-in frother. That's it. You can either pour in hot milk directly into the pitcher, or microwave it. I prefer to pour the hot milk, because this pitcher gets HOT! The product description notes that it's insulated, but that's just due to a thin, removable silicone jacket that covers most of the pitcher (and says "Hot Chocolate", helpfully). In terms of actually insulating the liquid inside, it doesn't do a better job than any other ceramic dish. What really separates this from just getting a milk pitcher or something is the lid, which fits snugly in the top of the pitcher. This has a built-in frother, which mixes up your cocoa powder or chocolate shavings when you press the button on the top. It's not very good compared to other frothers I have; perhaps it's because it's touching the bottom of the pitcher, but it spins slowly, and sometimes event stops. I actually replaced the included batteries to make sure they weren't the culprit, but no, it's just a middling frother. To its credit, though, it did indeed mix my milk and cocoa into a delicious drink for my family and me. However, I could have easily done all this in mugs with a normal frother. This doesn't add much except novelty to the equation, and I couldn't justify paying full price. Maybe if you see it on sale for $20-25 dollars, then it would be worth it for the basic elements it provides.

Cute pot, but too pricey!
This hot chocolate pot is the cutest and I love the design! I've used it a couple of times now with my kids and they seem to love it. You have to heat up the milk before putting it in the pot and then add the hot chocolate, and mix with the electric frother included on the lid. It takes two AAA batteries for the frother which is included in the package. It's super simple to use and my kids like that they can make their own hot chocolate by themselves now. It does mix well and makes delicious hot chocolate, but it does take a little longer than I expected because the frother is kind of slow. Also the hot chocolate doesn't stay warm for long like I expected and it doesn't make enough for everyone in the house, so we have to make new batches a few times. I think it's a cool idea , but honestly it doesn't do much that is special except mix the ingredients together. I gave it 4 stars for these reasons and it's just too pricey. Regardless we will continue to use it.

This hot chocolate pot could be better.
We use this pot with our microwave so it is convenient for 2 cups of milk. Cons: The rubber wrap slips when it is warm. You need to continuously press the top button for it to keep frothing and mixing the hot chocolate. Froth depended on the brand of chocolate we used. The neck is a bit stretch for a male hand. Pros: it is microwave proof.

It Took A Little Work
So when I got this Hot Chocolate Pot, I thought it was going to be an all in one kind of thing, where all you needed to do was simply add in your preferred ingredients, heat and drink happily. Well with this one, it wasn't really like that. I had to preheat the milk, then add the hot cocoa mix, close everything up, then turn on the frother to get everything mixed well for serving. It's not like your other kettles that heat the water internally, so if that's what your hoping this will do, then this isn't for you. However, it's a great serving decanter for your stored hot cocoa or other chosen warm drinks, and the frother add-on made it so as to ensure everything was mixed really well. But for the money, and convenience, I would probably chose a different brand that has more features to it other than just mixing everything internally. So with that in mind, though it didn't turn out to be what I was expecting, it still has some degree of functionality, and is a nice serving kettle on those cool days.

Better than expected
I've never had such wonderful hot chocolate at home. This product makes it pretty easy. I do wish it had a plug instead of batteries. Each batch makes enough for two people, which is a plus. I do think it may be a wee bit overpriced for what it is, but that's just my opinion.

Chic exterior design but not too practical
The pot looks good and that it can keep the hot chocolate warm for longer. I gave 4 stars because 1. The battery is at the top over and the whisk is not detachable from the top/lid. If you are mixing chocolate, not sure if wiping down with a cloth will clean well 2. The neck is a bit small 3. For you to make the hot cocoa, you need to boil the milk first before pouring into the pot. It would be a 5 star if the whisk can be detach from the top/lid and have a heating function
