Fit and worked perfectly
After 20 yrs my 42" green 1999 Craftsman Model 917.270840 tractor started showing signs of a slipping belt. In thick grass it would sort of clunk and you could hear the blades not making that 'air' sound. Finally in really thick grass it threw the belt off and it looked rather worn and some cords were showing. There was no fabric on the edges at all. So I dropped the deck, took belt off and it measured about 87 inches around the outside . Belt came in three days (faster than amazon predicted) . I threaded the belt on the deck and reinstalled the deck by putting the belt on the engine last and rotating the engine pulley by hand until it went on - very tight but correct. Starting the mower I expected the blade to turn a bit until the belt wore in but it was perfect - only spins when its supposed to. I then cut the very long 1.5 acres lawn (mulched) and the belt was as good as new. . Sometimes it was so long it was a terrible cut and got all bunched up as it tried to mulch but the belt held on fine. Afterwards when I finished and shut down, I checked the belt and pulleys and they were not hot so the belt wasnt slipping. I dont think I needed to drop the deck and could have changed it by only disconnecting none or one link - not sure on that. Additional info - After 20 yrs this deck is about on its last leg after rusting through the right front corner which is predicable and they should have doubled up on the metal there. While the deck was off I made a patch with some fairly soft 20 gauge stainless steel sheet metal I had laying around. This patch is about 12" wide x 8" tall and I mounted it with five 1/4" through bolts - turned out great. I havent done much to this tractor in 20 yrs - changed the inside wheel hub bearing on the front right wheel ($4), changed starter solenoid ($10), changed starter with heavier duty universal version ($30), took off fuel filter once and blew it out in reverse with carb cleaner to fix suddenly non-starting, banged out filter every other year, rinsed the outer foam air filter a few times, put slime in all 4-tires when new and never had a problem, change oil every 1.5 yrs and last 5 yrs have used 5W-30 synthetic which I can tell runs better since it cranked faster and turns a few cycles when I shut off since synthetic. Engine is B&S Twin 20.5HP. Early on I added a bolt to push back on the poorly designed steering spur gear mechanism so the steering wheel rarely 'jumps' when it skips a gear tooth. I grease this gear when I change oil. Several battery changes. Changed both plugs one time I think, but didnt need to really once I saw them, so I saved them as backups. Never touched the automatic gearbox oil. Also never changed the blade spindles but thought I might have to once when I hit something and it bent the blade which then dug in to the ground and stripped the star blade mounting. I used a dremel grinder to fix the star shape and threw out the bent blade. The gas tank indicator plastic cover came off and I lost it before I could glue it back on. So, in the off season, I put a plastic bag on the gas tank hole with a rubber band but otherwise its fine for a week between fill-ups. So in retrospect this thing has done a lot of work without much trouble at all. I half hope it would break so I can get an electric tractor (Mean Green) or something new but as long as I can fix for under $50 in about an hour I'll keep it running. Engine runs great

Works as it should..
So far the belt is doing fine. I've cut the grass twice now and the belt looks like new, no cracks or splits. If it makes it through the season, I'll be happy.

Top Quality Belt that Lasts, for Those Tired of Changing Cheap Mower Belts Every 4 Weeks.
These are the real-McCoy when it comes to kevlar belts. Wasted my time on the cheaper ones that claim to be Kevlar but weren't. Learned my lesson. Changing the belt on my rinding mower is a pain in the rear, and it's worth the extra cost of a top quality belt to avoid having to change the belt (literally) three times in one summer.

Perfect fit for LTH130 Hydrostatic
Arrived as promised was exactly 88" and fit my Husqvarna LTH130 with a 42" deck perfectly. Have had it on now for cuttings for a total of about 4 hours and no issues.

High quality belt
This is a very high quality belt. I just installed it, and it was much more heavy-duty than the one I was replacing. I have no doubt that it will last a very long time.

So convenient to have it delivered to my door
Living in the woods out of town makes shopping amazon.com such a convenience. Fair prices, huge selection and delivery to my door. Oh yes, the belt appears to be a quality item, no problems so far.
