Suspenders do not attach to the belt.

These seem plenty adequate for working around the house. One gripe is the suspenders attach to the bags not the belt. Not the end of the world, can get some belt loops pretty cheap but it is annoying, as you can't adjust the bags to the sides or back until you fix that.

Comfortable

Using the provided pouches isn’t really optional

The provided pouches are part of the suspension system. I hadn’t noticed before purchase. This is only OK if you only ever use a specific tool load. The actual belt is not stiff. These are my two big complaints. I’m returning product. Having said this; the system is very comfortable. …And if they had a stiffer belt that attached to the harness via loops that attached to provided clips, I would love this product.

A tool belt, were everything but the belt is well made

The tool belt pouches are well made, the shoulder harness is well made. Even the comfort waist lap is good, but the actual belt that holds the whole shooting match together is Junk!!!! The belt loops thru the pouches and comfort waist lap to hold them all together then the shoulder straps hold the loops mounted to the pouches. So if the belts crap nothing Hold together, chain is only as strong as it's weakest link. The only thing is the belts not a link it's a pinch pin that ties it all together. Dave

These pouches are set up the same as the same as CLC brand but are not even close to the quality. Spend the extra money and get the CLC. I've had these pouches For a little over a month already getting holes in the bottom, the Velcro on the pouches will not stick to the belt and

Amazon Basics Comfort Lift Combo Tool Belt with 28 Pockets

Sits a bit low and can cause discomfort on the hips when there's too much weight loaded. Solidly built otherwise and stands up to a full-on day of weight and work. Better aimed at hobbyists (home DIY) than a professional using day in day out.

Tool belt suspender

This is a good heavy duty tool belt suspender, which clips on to the hooks of your waist belt. The idea behind them is to take some of the strain away from your hips when they’re weight bearing with tools, and I find it does help. It also prevents the tool belt from slipping all over the place. This one is a reinforced coated nylon, with lower-grade leather hooks for attaching to the belt, or for further tool attachments. It sits well on the shoulders and is easily adjusted to fit. So far so good.

Impossible to do this justice with pictures!

My husband absolutely loves this exception tool belt and bags, which can be used with a full harness, just the belt or the bags can be used alone with the carry handles. The quality is exceptional, strong and sturdy materials, excellent finishing, strong zips/rings/clips, easy to adjust slide fastening, Velcro fastening and belt buckle and endless storage pockets in the bags. The driver/accessories case for our rechargeable screwdriver fits into this easily so we are using one bag solely for screwdrivers and attachments, along with scrapers, callipers, tape measures etc for every day jobs. The zipped bag easily fits his rechargeable drill, spanner’s, stapler, drill bits, hammer and even the magnetic wrist strap he uses for drill bits fits in easily. He hasn’t finished filling that bag yet as he’s sorting out his best tools. This is a seriously impressive tool belt/storage bags combo that was intended for my electrician brother until my husband modelled it for the pictures! He loved it so much he wanted it himself and I’m grateful because finding tools in our house is a nightmare, as he leaves them all over the place. Now he’s taken over full time care of his father, my son and I need to locate tools quickly ourselves. We took the bags off and put the straps in a zip bag to store in the office cabinet draw. The belt and harness fold away quite small and the bags also fit inside the large bottom draw of the filing cabinet. This was ideal for us as my husband has a ton of external DIY jobs to do that involve ladders and he hates holding things when he’s on a ladder. We could only find one negative with this combi belt and it’s really minor - it needs a belt loop to stop the belt hanging down after fastening. My husband has already found a loop that works with this belt and we feel it’s a very minor issue as this is such excellent quality. One of the most impressive items I’ve reviewed and my brother is a little gutted he missed out on this!

A serious set of galluses.

Think this is one of the most serious set of trouser/tool belt braces I've seen in a long time. Lets start at the loops for 'round the belt & work our way up. The loops [there are four, two front, two rear] are made from 6mm thick heavy duty leather & are closed at their tops with re-enforced rivets topped with a "D" ring. They don't open, you are supposed to slide them onto the belt & leave them there. If you need to take off your belt of trousers the loops attach to the harness via metal snap fasteners on swivels. These swivels are polished steel for strength & corrosion reduction. The snap-hook/swivels are double sewn onto 25mm nylon straps which can be quickly adjusted via the four heavy plastic slide buckles that are triple sewn to the padded shoulder yoke. Where the straps meet the yoke on the front there is an adjustable sternum strap, this will help keep the load more comfortable & secure. The shoulder yoke is "U" shaped & curved so that it fits comfortably around the neck & shoulders so spreading the weight evenly. It is also padded enough to give a good blend of stiffness & flexibility. The underside has a breathable mesh to help perspiration to wick away. I decided to give it a wee try so deliberately overloaded my tool belt with everything it could carry. It was immensely comfortable. I still try to take around ¾ to ⅔ of the weight on my hips as they're the strongest joint in the body, but shifting some of the weight up was nice, it also stops your trousers from heading Southwards, so no constant pulling them up. There's no price listed at the moment of writing this but its a top quality product that does the job really well so well worth considering when they become available for sale again.

Surprisingly good!

My partner is 6'6" and this fits him well. He is extremely happy with it for doing DIY around the house. His only complaint is the weight of it, but the amount of pockets make up for it
