Our high energy dog's favorite
This is an integral part of our shepard/collie's daily routine. Collie's in particular are very focused, and are workers needing a ridiculous amount of exercise. Our nearly 3 year old has been using this twice a day, just about every day to get her energy out. Every 4-6 months we purchase a new ring as an old ring gets partly chewed, worn out, or lost but the wand typically outlasts the rings so this is where we buy them. In winter snow we have to transition to the chuck-it flying squirrel as this ring gets buried and lost in the powder. While I do wish she liked the tennis ball version more as that product is much more readily available (and you can sub actual tennis balls when needed), this one has some advantages. First, it is heavier than the ball. You can therefore put more effort into throwing it and get 50 yard tosses if you choose. Go easy though - I got tennis elbow from this thing. But that is probably due more to the twice daily 30+minute sessions with little breaks (this dog just keeps going!). Second, You can bounce and roll it higher and further than the ball too. My goal is to toss it up reasonably high and far enough that my dog catches it on the first or second bounce. She loves to catch it in the air but a quick inspection of her teeth tell me that's not a good idea (all of her 4 canine teeth are missing a little bit of them). Maybe I should ding this product one star for that, but my dog insists that it is a 5 star product. Lastly, it is heavier than the ball so be careful throwing it near buildings. I haven't broken any windows with this but there have been a couple close calls.

Durable
My dog loves this toy. He is an aggressive chewer and it's still completely intact months later. Great for playing tug too!

Dogs love it
Would be better if it was a solid ring vs. being hollow.

My 9 month old GSP chewed through ring within minutes.
The toy did not squeak, which didn't concern me too much. But within minutes I had to remove the toy from my puppy because he had already chewed a chunk from the plastic.

Love chuckit products but this didn't last
I love chuckit products. After my doberman chewed up and swallowed a regular tennis ball that ended up costing $3500 in endoscope removal procedure, I switched to all chuckit balls. The balls seem to last forever, but she chewed a hole in this ring almost immediately. Not sure why since it's the same material as the balls, so it must be the shape. I had to throw this away. I will keep ordering the balls though. They are excellent.

It is a Chuck it
I love chuck it items because they hold up so well. I am only giving this a 3 star because we got one that does not squeak. When I received it was loose from the packaging so I am assuming it was a return that they sent me. It was for our pup for Christmas so did not return due to timing but she did not know the difference but I think she would have liked the squeaker probably better as she already had the original one that did not squeak. But it is durable like every other chuck it product I have.

fun while it lasted
well, I took it to the dog park and the dogs had fun chasing it and playing keep away but then my dog sat down with it and before I could take it from her ( I understand that fetch toys aren't chew toys) she had removed a giant chunk of it. I'm talking literally the time it takes to walk like 25 feet or so. maybe better for a smaller dog my dog is 50 bs

Good - but not solid
Our 8 month old, 13 lb mini-aussie pup has a mouth on her. With this toy not being solid all the way through and instead being hollow it lasted less than 4 days. I thought when I purchased it that it would be good for at least a few months. It didn't last a week against her. Sad to say, this is for LIGHT chewers, not puppies or anything with a modicum of jaw strength. She did not want us to throw it for her, she simply wanted to sit and chew on it. We have only had success with the black extra tough rubber from the kong lineup and with those being similar in price, we will not be purchasing this product here again. The chuck-it balls have stood up for about 2 months but I have to put them up in a basket when not playing fetch or she uses her front teeth to scratch away the surface until she can rip pieces off to ingest. I swear this pup might have PICA with how many toys, blankets, etc we have lost to her. Decent toy - just doesn't fit well for her chewing capabilities.

Awful Don’t Waste Your Money
Purchased this as we have been really impressed with the durability of the “chuck it” balls. Sadly the ring is not of the same standard. If I could give zero stars I would. Within 45 mins our retriever had chewed through the ring and was busily spitting bits of it out……so, no durability, no longevity and definitely not chew proof …….very disappointed.

Coming apart at the seam, only had since xmas
Brought chuck it ring as thought would be tough, as my dog already has a chuck it stick that he's had for over a year and still in great condition. However ring doesn't seem as good as only had the ring since Xmas day and is split already. (my dog is 10kg bedlington) so not really considered a 'power chewer' so I expected to last better than this. He still enjoys playing with it but I'm keeping check on it, as if breaks down further I'll need to throw it away.

Gutted
My furry nephew has the balls of the same brand and they last. He has a tenancy to chew his toys resulting in him having surgery when he was a pup to have plastic removed from his stomach. I got this for him for Christmas thinking it would be something different as all he has is the balls. He chewed through it in 10 minutes flat and we had to take it away and bin it. He's a Jack Russel.

That seller cares & you are made to feel you are the only customer! Service matters.
Our dog adores this. Like the tennis ball size,in this brand, they are hard waring and to a dog whose mission in life, along with playing is, chewing. But, in this case no damage, and boy does he try! I had need to contact them and, what a warm and friendly reply I received! Replying back, we both shared laughter at the antics of our dog.. They really couldn't do more and went out of their way. Not because they had to.. But clearly they made a customer feel special. And this against the backdrop of the Colvin 19 virus that, is making their lives a nightmare and I sure not all customers are patient. I wouldn't hesitate to order from them again and, will look to see if, any toys. etc I want, I will look to see, do they sell it? For us this small act of kindness, goes a long way. Thank you (&licks/kisses from see man!) P.A.W.

Don’t buy this
Bought this early but gave it to my bordoodle puppy on Christmas morning with many other toys. Today is 28th Dec and he has chewed a chunk of the ring off and was close to swallowing some. Had to take it from him. My puppy has played with many toys in the last few days so I can’t say it lasted 3-4 days. You cannot expect a dog to understand that a toy is for chasing and catching (hence it’s name Chuckit!) and not for chewing. Not impressed at all and I don’t think I’ll be buying more Chuckit! products.
