Perfect to slip on!

I’m disabled and needed a boot that could be worn with dress pants at work without having to deal with changing shoes, wanted something I could slip on without needing to bend over, and would stand up on its own instead of flopping over and requiring me to bend over to do it. I have had 3 back surgeries and have severe back issues due to a rare disorder. One of the things that is consistently difficult for me is putting on shoes. Any shoes that I can slip on work for me. These were perfect. They slip on without issue, are comfortable, waterproof, plain/sleek enough that I wear them to work with black pants and they look good.

Comfort and function

These boots are great slip on water/rain boots. They are fully lined with fluffy lining. They have a really good arch support inside and this is a real bonus for me. The only slight negative is that they strike me as very, very heavy for a pair of boots (When compared to my tennis shoes). But other than that I really like these, I wear them all day, drive and run errands in them and they are great.

Nice rain bootie

My last black rain Chookas split at the sole and as they were a go to shoe, I decided to replace them. I believe these are the same shoe (the first one was purchased at a different store) however, they are a bit tight in comparison to my last pair. I do have wide feet so people without wide feet will likely be fine. It could also be that the other pair had a good amount of wear? I have another pair of these shoes in gray that I don't wear very often and they also are a bit tight. So TBD if this black pair stretches! Overall, these shoes are definitely water prof! I've been in the rain probably 10 times with them so far (Washington Sate life ;)) and have waded a couple of inches into a calm ocean strait/the Sound. My feet have continued to stay dry. Note that these are insulated shoes and while this pair is currently okay, my prior black and current gray pair were/are a bit smelly!

Loved them!

These boots were super comfortable and warm! They are perfect for rainy days and snow days. The pair I bought were a little too big but once I got a smaller size they were perfect! Definitely recommend these.

Awkward circular cushion under heel for comfort

I like to wear Chelsea boots for gardening because they’re tall enough to keep soil out of my shoes, comfy to move around in and don’t slip off my feet like other “gardening shoes”. These boots are waterproof and lined—plus! The matte black is really pretty. I like that they’re not shiny. I normally wear a 7 in sneakers and 7.5 in boots. I sized up to an 8 since they do not come in half sizes. They’re slightly big but fit better with a thick pair of winter socks. They are overall comfortable, but have an awkward circular cushion located at the heel— it’s not uncomfortable but more awkward and strange feeling when taking a step. Nice features: - Waterproof - Fuzzy, warm lining - Matte black color Dislikes - Only comes in whole sizes - Raised circular cushion under heel

great rain boots for the money

These boots keep your feet fairly warm while walking in the rain or much of melting snow and ice. If you stand in cold water for a bit the cold seeps through that lining. They are so easy to put on, just stand into them and they are on, no pulling or tugging. I do have to sit down to get them off which is more difficult and for some reason my socks fall down my foot while wearing and walking in these boots. Knee socks stay put however. I walk my dog 2-3 times a day and they have been so good to have on hand.

Warm, comfy shoes

I probably wear these boots 3-4 times a week. They’re so comfortable and easy to slip on. They keep my feet really warm and dry. The only problem with them are they feel a little clunky. I constantly have to wipe them down because of all the dirt and dust that gets on them.

Heavy boot. Warm. True to size .

The boots fit true to size. The lining does keep your feet warm. My only problem was that they were heavy as opposed to lightweight which made it difficult to wear because the cuff of the boot is wide not narrow so my feet would keep slipping out. They're comfortable other than that. Unfortunately, I chose to return due to the cuff width and heaviness.

WATERPROOF WELLIES

The boots are lovely but quite heavy! A couple of cons - the plush lining pulls your socks down and they end up squishing your toes! Also the outer material is very hard and unforgiving so I ended up with chafing around my ankles. You would need to wear thick socks, folded over a few times to pad out your ankles. All of that said, they are totally waterproof and do what it says on the tin :-)

Split after a couple of months

Order these to wear when walking the dog. They arrived and I was thrilled, I absolutely loved them….literally couldn’t rave about them enough, to the point where my friends and family got a little sick of it. Purchased them on 21st October and all was great and then put them on last night (5th Jan) and they have split at the back. They are not overly expensive but I would have liked to have got a year out of them at least, especially as I only wear them for no more than an hour a day, and only when it’s wet or muddy! I am really disappointed as there is no option on the Amazon app to contact the for a refund as they are over the returns time limit but as they are faulty surely this does not apply? This isn’t the first time this has happened when something I have purchased from Amazon has broken after only a few uses and I will definitely make me think twice before ordering from Amazon again. Very disappointing.
