Fantastic fit and fix
A plastic lever that pushes on the door switch when closed was broken off. This led to the microwave staying on when the door was opened. This part fit exact and took about 15 minutes to replace. It includes all new switches which is a plus. If you have any switching issues, just buy this part and replace the whole thing.

Exactly what I needed to fix my over the range Micro wave . It comes with new door switches and can be replaced without taking the microwave down. 30 minute fix

You may not need this product if you watch the right youtube video
There are several Youtube videos that will help you fix your microwave. I purchased this product because I watched the wrong youtube video that said you could just pull the switches from the housing using needle nosed pliers. WRONG! You should remove this assembly from the microwave (held in place by two obvious screws) in order to access the little plastic retainers that hold the switches in place. These plastic retainers break very easily. The switches themselves are cheap, but the full assembly costs a bit more. Either way, you will save a bunch doing it yourself, and it is not difficult.

Perfect fit. Easier to replace than individual switches
My microwave was turning on intermittently when I opened the door. The problem was intermittent, and I wasn't able to identify the failing switch with a multimeter at first. So, I decided to replace all three thinking that the others will probably wear like the one that's failing. Well, the day after I ordered this assembly, the bottom switch completely failed and I was able to isolate the bad switch. It gives me some peace of mind replacing the entire assembly with all of the switches.

Piece of cake!
My Samsung SMH1816S was running with the door open. After researching and deducting that it was a door switch and there are three, I decided to order this whole assembly. It was a piece of cake to switch out, thanks to YouTube. As I suspected, it was the bottom switch, but now I have all new switches, which should last until it’s time to replace the whole thing. If not, I’ll just take one of the good switches out of the assembly that I replaced. PS I’m an older woman and was able to do this with no help other than a video.

Use the internet fix it yourself and save money
So if your door on microwave does not shut all the way, but will work if you push on and hold shut, then this product should solve issue. It worked for my Samsung microwave model SMH1926S. It took 15 minutes to change (you can YouTube how to gain access), the latch body came with all 3 micro switches. Glad I didn’t go out and buy a new Microwave or call a repairman.

Received some elses replacement
As soon as I opened the envelope and saw the ripped open box I had a bad feeling. When I pulled the item out and saw door marks and dust on the bracket I realized I received some elses broken part.
