Everyday Jeans

These jeans fit as expected from the size chart and are comfortable. After washing the inseam on the 6P was 25 ½ inches, which is longer than the Laura Scott ones I used to buy. Bottom hems come to the top of my shoes, and are not so long that I’m stepping on them [I’m 5-1]. Washed well and went through the drier on the casual cycle. Probably would not pass inspection by my fashion police nieces, but are a good choice when doing household and yard chores. They have side pockets. They don’t have back pockets and don’t have any metal studs. I’m giving 4 stars because they do not have a choice of rise, and although the size 4 is on the chart, they aren’t listed as available.

Chic's Products Have Changed

I ordered 2 pants in 100% cotton. 12P and 14P. I might be able to wear either in different Brands and bought both sizes here to find correct fit. I was unable to pull 12P over my hips it was so tight. The 14P fits although is more roomy through hoops/bum area than I'd like. However, I am keeping the 14P and returning the smaller.

Perfect jeans

Love these jeans. Had to find a replacement elastic waist jeans when my "go to" jeans got discontinued. The ONLY reason I gave 4 stars is because I had 2 pair with a way too tight waist. (I've ordered about 5 pairs in the past couple of years.) They hold the color when washed and do not shrink when dried. I'm in the process of losing weight and have gone from a 16, now to a 14 and they are getting loose...they do fit true to size. The petits are a little long, but with short legs, that's a normal always for me. Order your normal size.

Nice fit good price.

Purchased these for elderly woman who was not thrilled about elastic waist pants. She said " those are for old people." (She's 86) Turns out the not old 86 year old, really likes them. Purchased in petite size so no need to shorten. She now has 4 pair.

These are the classic pants we used to find at K-Mart.

I was so happy to find these pants and purchased 3 pairs. I only wish they still made them in navy blue twill, not denim, as my job says NO to denim pants. Waistband only has 3 rows stitching vs 4 rows in the old style. Pockets are fairly deep so room for keys, etc. too. These are great and so happy to have found them and at a very reasonable price too! Just about what I used to pay for them several years ago.

Hard to find jeans like this

I've bought these before because I don't have the typical female shape. My hips are slim but my waist is not. These wash well. The only reason they got four stars instead of five is that the rise is a bit too high for my liking.

Disappointed

I was initially so pleased when I opened the packages (a 6P and an 8P) because the fabric was just right and they seemed to be well made. However the 6P waistline was way too tight even though the hip, thigh and length were perfect. The high-rise waist on the 8P was way too long. These are definitely not proportioned petites. Shortening the leg length does not make a product into petite. I had to return both pairs.
