Great tool for removal of recessed faucet aerator screen cartridges

Exactly what I needed to remove a recessed aerator cartridge from a lavatory faucet. Several different sizes and designs of aerators can be removed with this handy tool. Well made, metal body. Great addition to my household tool box. ✔️

Works as advertised

Tool worked for a difficult to remove aerator on a Toto faucet. Has many sizes built into one tool. Quality of tool is good but not excellent. For the price it was well worth it. Made the job easy.

Worked with my Moen Spray Head Faucet

I am giving it 5 stars because it worked for me when nothing else did.. I have flex hose sink faucet with model number--A112.18.1; that is a Moen brand. This was the only aerator wrench that would engage the slots on the underside of the head. My choice would be to have one with slightly wider prongs to help avoid the prongs slipping out and ruining of the plastic slots, but, with the proper precautions, you probably can make it work. My faucet has 4 slots on the underside of the spray end. The set of prongs nearest the center of the wrench engaged two of these plastic slots. You have to be very careful not to tilt the wrench when you apply pressure or you will ruin the slots. Keep your hand cupped over the prong end of the wrench when you twist it. Don't think you can just twist the wrench holding the other end; if you do, you will surely tear up the slots. The faucet slots are at the center of my sprayer, so it looks like the wrench is going to loosen the center of the place where the water comes out. Instead, the threads you are loosening are around the edge of and inside the head, and when you undo it, all the head parts fall out. In effect, you are loosening threads that are 2" in diameter using a 2 prong metal device that engages plastic slots that are only about 3/4" in diameter. This is a really bad design, of course, so you have to be careful not to cam out the slots. If you successfully get it apart, be sure to coat the treads with silicon so it comes apart easily next time. I ordered through Amazon Prime about 11:30am on a Friday. The Amazon web page said this would receive same day delivery, but it actually came Saturday night about 10:30pm. That was good enough for me. We just washed our dishes in the toilet for two more days. No problemo.

Needs to come with instructions

I’m sure this is a “good quality” product but I just couldn’t figure out how to use it. It needs an instruction sheet as I couldn’t find any videos on YouTube to help.

Piece of crap.

Doesn't fit Grohe aerators. Is also a painful to use, literally -- the tool is designed in a way that gripping it for leverage will press the skin/hand against the jutted pieces of metal. Awful design, save your money.

Muy buena opción, cumple con su función

Pro: es una todo en uno, te evitas tener cargar con varias llaves. Que sea metálica ayuda a que no se desgasten los dientes, las de plástico se van deshaciendo. Contra: el material también le juega en contra, tienes que ser cuidadoso al girar el aireador ya que puedes barrerlo si fallas al comenzar a girar.
