So far so good
I'm hard on watches. My last pocket watch cost $200.00 and lasted 6 years before I managed to destroy it. I decided not to spend that much on a replacement which would probably suffer a similar fate. I didn't want a dime store quality watch, so I figured this watch would fill the bill. So far it has. It looses about 1 minute per week, which is good for a mechanical movement. I wind it morning and night. So far no problems. The hands glow in the dark if exposed to light for a few minutes. I keep the watch in my "BIBS" so I don't use that feature. The fact that you can watch the wheels, gears & cogs turn doesn't impress me. The chain is a light weight alloy. The material is about the same as the chain on my last watch. I would prefer a watch about 50 mm. in diameter but this isn't an objectionable size for a working man's watch. I rated the watch a 4 because I have owned it less than 6 months.

beautiful quality pocket watch for the price
The watch is very nicely made. It came in a great box with a decent chain that clips on to anything (you can slide the clamp on top of pants waist, belt, or even a pocket to hang in your cargo shorts) and it also included a microfiber bag to keep it in while she sleeps lol! The only downside is the back gear doesn't have the engraving like the picture which I really liked. It is kind of a brushed finish instead. It still looks great but I was kinda disappointed. Maybe the higher end models have it or it was merely a cleverly placed waterwark for the photo lol! Whatever the case... It hardly matters because it is quite beautiful! It screams quality and keeps great time so far. If you want a throwback to a more simple time, with a dash of modern style at a decent price... Then this is the pocket watch for you!

Nice watch
It's a fun little watch, and it's held up so far. It keeps pretty accurate time, but mine looses a minute every couple days - not a problem though, just what you'd expect from any mechanical watch. My only real qualm is that the stem sometimes pops up and changes the time when I put it in my pocket. Although it's easy to tell when this has happened, you still don't know what the real time is. It doesn't happen that often, though, and otherwise it's a good watch.

good watch for the price
This isn't my grand dad's old Hamilton, but for the price it is a fine piece, so far. Ive only had it a week and I haven't had to reset it yet. I purchased it primarily to use while working outdoors, but I have found myself carrying it all the time. With all of the latest and greatest high tech devices that surround us, it is nice to step back to the wind up pocket watch.

Great Watch
I love this Open Face Pocket Watch. I've had mine for a year and accidentally broke the face/crystal/plastic while skateboarding. (Never skating with it again). Its shiny, comes with a great pouch and case for display when not being used. When I sent it for repair, it was a very cheap repair. The tension lasts a little bit more that 24 hours if you twist it to the recommended amount so if you forget to wind it at the same time everyday there is a little bit of leeway for forgiveness. The chain however is not the best quality chain. I would recommend buying another chain because the one I have had broke twice each time after getting snagged on like a drawer handle or caught in a chair. Its possible I'm moving too quickly for this chain to remain in tact but my understanding was it is a stainless steel chain. The chain does not feel like stainless steel when it brakes. I've since ditched the chain and am currently looking for a new one. The watch is still in my pocket and shines great!

Disappointing
I had high hopes for this watch, but alas they didn't eventuate. The watch is very small, but worst of all, the crystal is not flat on the watch. By that I mean the crystal is not seated correctly. There is a about 1 mm in height on one side, and nearly 3 mm on the other! I can't use this watch, it is too annoying. I might try this brand again. Then again i might not.

At last, a reasonably priced pocket watch that looks good and works well
I've ordered a mechanical pocket watch before. It broke down after a week.. The other pocket watch I ordered has a face with exposed clockwork that makes it VERY difficult to read the hands. It's hard to see at a glance which is the short, which the long hand. Both are hard to view against the busy clockwork background. It sits in a drawer, unused. Not so this watch. It has an exposed clockwork face, but it is laid out well, so the hands can be easily distinguished. I waited until I've had the watch for about a year, I think, and I wind it up twice a day (if I'm carrying it through a long day), and so far, no problems with the clock mechanism. It keeps time fairly accurately (losing a minute or two over several days. It is a nice size and comfortable weight.

Excellent Pocket Watch
This is an excellent pocket watch. It's slightly smaller than I expected, but all the better. Expect to have it as somewhat of an inaccurate watch due to the mechanical movement though. I have to change it every few days or so but I think it builds discipline. They do require more care than a normal watch so make sure to find a good article about how to care for them. Everything about the watch is well built. When I got the package I could tell it was a quality watch just from the box, which is different from the picture; from what I received anyway. Both the watch and chain have a good weight to them. One note: if you're very picky about the roman numeral four on watches, notice that this one does have four I's rather than an IV. I'll be glad to pass this pocket watch down in my family as a worthy heirloom.
