Quality brass nozzle.
Did not fit my existing hose assemblies so I had to buy a new one. I could have bought a new plastic garden sprayer but mine is stainless steel.

Perfect
I purchased this to replace the adjustable nozzle that came on my Birtchmire Iris15 backpack sprayer. The birtchmire nozzle was not broken, it was just junk. This nozzle fits perfectly without any sort of modifications.

Uneven spray but still very high quality.
I had higher hopes for this. I was looking for a better range of control and a more even spray that I found it does. It makes a strong jet. No big surprise there, but what about spray or mist? Well the cone is uneven and it lacks any further adjustment towards fine so that you can mist. Any slight turn and the spray shape changes dramatically. To be more specific, I've gotten much better variability and uniformity of pattern out of 95% of the plastic spray bottles I buy at Target or Home Depot. This nozzle is undeniably well machined, though, turns easily like a knife cutting through butter, and doesn't leak. It has a round base. The round shape means it doesn't mount securely like the other nozzles do to the rack on yourChapin 1949 Sprayer , and as soon you invert the sprayer to empty & rinse it, the nozzle falls out of the rack. For my purposes the dedicated 0.5 GPM sprayer nozzle that Chapin sells is the best head for misting, even though it's not really a mist, just a uniform fine spray in a 20º cone.

Fits 3 gal Chaplin hand sprayer
This nozzle works great on my sprayer. I just wish they had supplied the washer/gasket where it attaches to the wand. I had to make one. Also be nice if they supplied an extra oring that goes in the nozzle. Both the gasket and oring need to be replaced occasionally and no one has those any more.

Fits only metal spray handles and wands.
Be certain this nozzle fits your wand before you purchase, it is non-returnable. Will not fit Chapin 6-7770 32-inch poly/brass extendable wand. However, it does appear to be a sturdy brass nozzle that should give many years of service. Made in USA with global materials.

Exact fit.
This was to replace a nozzle for a weed sprayer from CTC. Based on the pictures of it on-line I was 99% sure it was going to fit. As expected it was an exact match. The price was about the same as buying a new sprayer but I had made a modification to mine (installed a valve stem for a car tire to be able to use a compressor to pressurize the sprayer, works slick. Google the modification!) I just really needed to replace the Nozzle I lost in the grass :(

Wrong nozzle
Nozzle did not fit my sprayer. Original description failed to mention nozzle only fit metal wands. Can’t return even though it’s in original unopened package. Waste of $15.
