Good tool to improve dribbling
Good tool to help with improving dribbling skills. Son uses it all the time. Slightly smaller than 29.5 but that's okay. Doesn't bounce quite like a normal basketball, so types of drills you can do with ball is a little limited. My son is only 12 and don't feel comfortable having him do weights just yet, but using this ball just doing dribbling drills has made his arms stronger. I purchased the 4lb ball. Wished it bounced a little higher but pleased overall.

My favorite heavy ball
A very good weight for a training ball. Not too heavy as to injure the shoulder, elbow or wrist shooting, or too heavy and throw off shot mechanics/timing/rhythm. It is perfect for game-speed dribbling practice, and very helpful for extending range. I have 3lb and a 6lb balls, and this is my preferred ball because it is light enough to be versatile. A typical indoor ball is 600-640 grams, while this is 908 grams (454 grams per pound.) Also, being a rubber ball, it's durable outdoors (no lumps at all so far that reviewers a number of years ago experienced and wrote about.)

4lb - does work!
Great ball helps you dribble a lot harder and faster as well as shoot farther and shoot 3's with all wrist. At first dribbling with this was very hard i can almost stand straight up while using it now at first it will ruin your shot with regular balls but help in the long run. After switching back to a regular ball my cross over was too fast for my left hand to keep up with I also lost the ball a lot on fast breaks because the ball feels like a feather. Only negative is that is an out door ball and gets very dirty. (and i've only used it indoor on those tile plastic thing type courts.)

Lopsided.
I purchased this ball because I needed a weighted ball that wouldn't be affected by the wind when shooting on the outdoor courts. The park gyms are closed here in Hawaii because of Covid. With a regular ball the wind can really mess up your shooting form (and makes you jog long distances chasing your misses), especially if you insist on making the shot. This weighted ball goes right through the wind. Problem is it is lopsided. Hard to dribble. It is bouncy though. Hopefully I just got a bad one. I'm sure this product is meant to be level and balanced like a regular ball. It does what I needed it to do.

Go easyyyy!
Ball is exactly what I was hoping for. Pulled it out of the box and inflated it to the recommended lbs. My 9 year old son was geeked and ready for some practice with this new training aid. First pass was a little strong (highly recommend short easy passes to start). Overall, looking forward to what this bad boy can do!

Heavy BBall
Exactly as described. Helps in training big time. Girls are always reaching in my bag to use it.

It bulges after 1 month of use
It was great for the first month of use, but after a while I noticed there are bulges around the ball and it got worse. I didn't mind it because I treat it as reactionary dribble drill but otherwise beware!

Beware of this ball. Upset Raptors fan!
My 15 yrs old son was so excited to put in the work practising with this ball, but after 5 mins of playing with this ball outside it exploded. He was scared and I was extremely upset especially after paying what I did.
