Compact

Little on the small side

Overall Good

We've used these a few times on the grill and we like them overall. It's a bit hard to open with hot pads on but I like that it is super tight so you know that it is not going to open on the grill. It does say dishwasher safe. However, after the first time in the dishwasher, I noticed a few spots starting to rust so I've been hand washing instead.

Works well

I bought these to grill chicken wings on my gas grill. Previously, I would have to turn the wings one at a time which takes time and effort. The basket will fit about 18 wing sections. Now I can place the basket with the 18 wings on the grill and flip the basket with little effort. Not only does it make the job of flipping the wings easier, the basket adds a layer of protection against the heat of the grill. Flipping 18 at once also makes it easier to flip them more often. Char Broil does not recommend cleaning baskets in dishwasher but I did so on upper rack and they came out really clean. I would imagine this will degrade the non stick after a while. The only drawback is that they are a little difficult to open on the hot grill. This is why I rated 4 stars and not 5. There are little tabs that snap the basket closed and open. When the baskets are hot, you have to use pot holders to hold the one side and use another to pop open the tab. The tabs are small and it is a little difficult getting your finger on the right spot with a pot holder or glove. I think it might be easier to use a butter knife to pop them open. I'll try that next time.

Easy to Open, Clean and Use

I'd brought a couple of those griller snap bags to cook veggies in and had to cut them open to get my food out when it was done. This basket is fantastic! So Easy to Open!!! Very easy to clean. I use a brush with soap and put it in the sink to clean. Would be better if I could put in the dishwasher but this works without much effort at all. My food does NOT stick to the basket, it is everything it says it is and it really holds a lot of food. We shake the basket to assure even cooking if I've put more then 3 servings in it. I'd buy this again! Put a silicone mat down in your oven and use it to cook your food when you can't grill out.

Little rusty...

Used it couple time. It does a good job of grilling veggies. Little rusty after washing in dishwasher.

LOVE THESE!

I love these (I have 2). 2 is enough to make plenty of grilled vegetables or sweet potato fries and you can really control the browning. I cook them on low and flip them often. To clean them, I just leave them empty on the grill when I'm heating it up to clean it. As someone else mentioned, I loosened the clasp a little so that it is easier to open and close (especially when it's hot!) Great item, great for Christmas gifts!

Holds a lot!

LOVE grilling & flipping veggies with this basket. Have grilled shrimp too. Easy to clean, just let it soak a bit in sink. Could not find if it dishwasher safe, so NOT taking a chance. Besides, sink clean is easy - I do spray vegge & shrimps with olive oil, so soaking gets any oil off. No foods slip thru when grilling. Lid stays tight & easy to snap open/close Again, LOVE this basket for grilling. Just wish I had bought one sooner! Now I grill more veggies than ever before, yum. Oh, and easily fits inside my small, covered, round, electric patio grill.

Pain flakes off easily

Oh my. Paint flaked off on my hands the first time I opened the basket, and again when I washed it for the first time. Hate to think we going to be eating black paint along with our vegetables. Otherwise, it's a nice-sized little basket with just the right sized mesh openings for holding small vegetables pieces.

Amazing

I Bought these to use in my smoker to smoke chicken wings. notorious for sticking and making a mess of the wings. But not with these! they worked perfectly, sturdy, and the non-stick is fantastic. easy clean up after use. I will be ordering more asap for my next BBQ, as I just want to add more! great product definitely recommend!

Practicas aunque con un area de oportunidad

El material es bueno, te va a costar trabajito lavarlas, lo normal, pero el pero viene en el mecanismo para abrir la cesta, esta algo duro, y caliente pues batallas mas; asi que con cuidado.

Meets expectations

Works well. The latch is a bit too tight and makes it difficult to open. When it's straight off the grill, that's a bit dangerous. Bending out the latches a bit will make it safer to handle.

worked really well on a gas grill

cooked a whole sea bream with this. oiled the fish and the basket before grilling. it worked great, non stick, delicious. a handle would’ve been nice but all good

Great wings

We bought the basket so we did not have to turn the wings on the barbecue one by one. The basket is a little too deep, if you don’t turn it over carefully the wings will slide to one end . That being said, our wings turned out great and we will use it again !!
