Pretty, but glaze quality inconsistent
It's a pretty nice bowl, but I don't like it quite as much as I expected to. The blue glaze is very nice, but it's only on the inside and only half way down. This is shown in the pictures, but the rest of the glaze is matte and kinda patchy. It's microwave and dishwasher safe, and I haven't had any problem with either. The clay used is fine grained enough that it doesn't feel like I scratch everything I put it on. It's quite heavy for the size. Sometimes I like that for something like a hot soup, since it takes the heat down but holds it. Unfortunately I usually find it too big for soup, too small for dough, etc. Decent product, but too awkward to be a favorite.

Love the function and the finish grew on me
When I first received this bowl, I did not care for it. As others have noted, the inside center of the bowl appears unfinished. It seems to be the same finish as the exterior. I didn't like the look of this at first, in contrast to the pretty shimmery blues, but it grew on me. If the interior is not visible or the bowl is at eye level, the exterior is very drab. It appeals to me more because of the function. It is an interesting size. It is too small for a popcorn or for most mixing or serving needs, especially for more than one person. It has turned out to be a great bowl for my solo dinner and lunch servings. I tend to mix up a grain, some veg, and protein for a meal and this is the perfect size for me. It is also good for soups and salads. It is comfortable to hold and holds heat well without being too hot. I like that it can go in the microwave and dishwasher. Of course, this could also be a decorative bowl, as well, but looks best if you're looking down into it.

Nice bowl, but small imperfection.
I docked a star because there is an imperfection. There is an unfinished circular spot that catches the eyes. I use this is a candy dish on my desk so I’m able to I have the door with the blemish facing the wall, so it’s not a big deal for me, but if I was going to use this as a serving dish on a table I would’ve returned it. I really like this dish, it looks really cool in my office, and is perfect for store and candy. Whether you could use this as a serving dish would depend on the size of your party. If you were serving up to six people this should be fine for a side, anything more than that and it would probably be too small.

Beautiful, durable bowl
I use these for my keys, wallet, etc. - daily carry items. Goes well with the color scheme I have in my office. Subtle, artisan look. Love the colors on the inside of the bowl. Quite sturdy and heavy weight. Stands up to keys, etc. regarding any scratching. Good value.

Not fully glazed
This is a really pretty glaze bowl, perfect for serving snacks. I know each product varies but the inside bottom is completely raw no glaze, It arrived with little pieces chipping off. It worries me that you could have food and accidentally eat a piece of the bowl -_- All in all, beautiful glaze but please finish the whole thing

A really, unique bowl
This bowl is such a gorgeous bowl. The reactive glaze is really pretty. It’s a white bowl and inside is this gorgeous blue glaze and the entire thing looks like a piece of art. I am using it to hold my crystals in it and it looks amazing as a decorative piece. Anxious to buy the entire set!

Gorgeous Small Serving Bowl With an Asian Pottery Look
When I took this bowl out of its shipping box, I was immediately reminded of pottery I had seen in Japan. The exterior and the inner bottom show the natural light brown of the clay/stoneware, while the inner sides have a drippy blue and white glaze. Because that glaze is a reactive one, each piece will look different. Mine is mostly a pale blue fading to near-white, with some darker blue streaks. Although I wish it were a more vibrant blue, that's out of my control, and it in no way impacts the bowl's beauty. The bowl itself is on the small size for a serving bowl, but I find it perfect for a couple. Although the bowl itself isn't marked as such, it comes with a small label saying that it's both microwave- and dishwasher-safe. -- Debbie Lee Wesselmann

blotchy outside
The inside of the Creative Co-Op Stoneware is really pretty, the blue pattern is just lovely. I realize the description says the bowls will vary, but mine has these unattractive large brown splotches at the bottom. It's thick and feels sturdy and well made.
