Great C Serum and a "Meh" B5 Serum
I was really excited to see this duo for such a good price. I'm just starting to get serious about cosmeceuticals and so I don't have an extensive experience with vitamin C serums and don't have a lot to go by in terms of comparisons. Once I try the other serums out there, I might decide this is as good as it gets. Who knows? High-Potency C Serum: My favourite of the two. The best thing about this is the no-frills ingredient list. There is no fragrance and not a huge unnecessary list of ingredients. Its consistency is extremely watery and it sinks into skin amazingly well. (I have oily, dehydrated skin.) This is the real deal because the active form of vitamin C is LAA and not the inferior MAP/ SAP which albeit being stable will not absorb as readily into the skin (not to mention the active form of vitamin C is converted into LAA anyway so, unless going with the tetra form, which is insanely expensive, LAA is your best bet!). The pH level is appropriate for the C to be effective (as far as I've read) --so really you are getting what you paid for with this. My only qualm is Cellex-C's choice to add a light yellow colour to this serum. In my mind, companies do this to hide their products' eventual oxidation and this is misleading and unnecessary. The point of an LAA serum is to be clear so it's easier to tell when oxidation happens and your vitamin C is no longer effective (and you should stop using it!). I know the colour of oxidised vitamin C (dark brown, accompanied by a sour smell) and so I kept an eye on it for the duration of the use. Luckily the colour hasn't changed much. As a rule you should keep your C serums in a drawer and use it away from direct sunlight (in a bathroom with the curtains drawn). Some store it in the fridge. Given that you use the serum twice a day (I used it once a day) it shouldn't last you no more than two months anyway. So, luckily I ran out of this serum before it had a chance to lose its efficacy. Hydrating B5 Serum: I didn't like it. It's thick and slimey and sticky. It has a stellar list of ingredients and didn't cause my sensitive skin any issues, but wearing it under makeup would guarantee it looking terrible that day. I left it for my PM routine and even then had to wait for it to absorb because layering other serums on top would make my skin tacky and gross. This is probably the Sodium Hyaluronate in the product; it tends to do that. Anyway, I didn't see any amazing effects with this one and after using it for more than a month I don't think it became any less dehydrated (le sigh!). (The HPS made my skin glow immediately after using it so maybe I had unrealistic expectations of the HB5.) So, it could be great for some of you but I wouldn't repurchase it. *Also, if I used both serums at the same time I would use the HPS (wait 20m) THEN use the HB5 because of the consistency and the pH levels of the two, it doesn't make sense to me to do it the other way around. It's a great deal on getting both serums though and you should give it a try! Given the chance I will repurchase HPS because it's a stellar vitamin C serum! Too bad the colour isn't clear. I'll shop around for others but this will be on my Wish List from now on.

C is wrong color, smells like iron
This product came very highly recommended from someone who continually uses it. I bought the select C Hydro, 5B complex, and the select C high potency serum. I did use them, but I noticed that the C had a very specific smell. When I did some research online, it said the vitamin C should be clear in color. This one is very brown as you can see from the photo. I’m assuming it’s bad. But now it’s been too long to return it. My advice would be to check the color and the smell as soon as it comes in.

Finally, I found one that works!
I wanted to give this 5 stars, but I'm not sure if it alone is responsible for my wrinkles fading or not. If you knew how many products I bought with the idea that I had a good product, you would think I would have given up by now! But I read about using this product (Cellex-c) along with NeoStrata Renewal cream. Cellex-c in the morning, & NeoStrata (Retinol apply only at night). These two together gave me results that I can actually SEE. I just turned 52, but my fine lines are really fading on my cheek, at times I think they are gone, but if I look in my magnifying mirror, I can still see that they are still slightly there. I have been using this combo, faithfully for just short of 2 1/2 months. I'm not sure WHICH ONE is giving the better results! I guess I will continue to just use both! Neostrata I paid $33, and I still have at least 1-2 months of product still remaining. I'm very happy with this product. It is watery though so be careful not to spill the bottle. Good Luck to you!

You won’t regret buying this product!!
Been one of my favorites for years.. the best Vit C serum I have ever used (and I’ve used tons of brands) it’s not thick - it’s like water but I run it in my skin till absorbed and let it sit for a few minutes before I use the second bottle (blue label) and I really has helped with fine lines and my face looks fresh and even toned!! I used it years ago and then moved on to try other brands- been back for almost a year and I have family and friends asking my what I am using!! So it must have made a noticeable improvement!

Cellx -C goes to work!!
I love Cellex-C. I am a Licensed professional skincare therapist. I've used Cellex-C on and off for 20 years. Best vitamin C brand on the market. Great for minimizing fine lines, wrinkles. I swear by this brand. This brand goes to work on all skin types leaving you with nicer skin texture and tone.

Awesome results!
Cellex is the original Vitamin C line, and I heard about them years ago when they developed a strawberry anti-aging cream, though I never tried it. I really like serums rather than creams, because my skin is oily as well as showing signs of "life". I bought this kit just to see what it would do vs skinceuticals C serums, which I have used for a couple of years. OMG. The difference is like night and day. My skin took off in the most wonderful direction, it is already more firm, my pores are smaller, and the lines beside my mouth are going away. I am impressed, and will continue to buy this. It is actually doing what it says it will do, and that's all I ask.

A good investment
I am a sixty-four year old woman and have been using Cellex-C on and off for several years. I am again returning to Cellex-C because it works really well for me. The change in my skin smoothness and brightness is apparent in a relatively short time. My skin has a glow that even my husband has noticed. I guess I'll be staying with this product for a long time. I'm through trying other "amazing products"! This is my amazing product.

Very good product
Vitamin C is critical for anti-aging. I also prefer serums to creams, because my skin is oily and heavy products make my skin breakout. I had been using Skinceuticals products, which are wonderful, but far too expensive. My skin is brighter and firmer and fine lines seem to have diminished. This products seems to be working well for me. It's just a matter of having patience. Improvements don't happen overnight. But !in this case, they DO happen!

Past the date of expiry.
I bought this in March 2020, the expiry date is July 2019! The vitamin C is so oxadized and dark. So for whatever it’s worth, I went ahead and tried it, as expected it didn’t work. This is the second time I purchase cellex c and recieve an expired item. Beware.

Love Cellex C, just not the crazy high price!
Was really happy when I saw the starter kit here on Amazon for a decent price so I subscribed for 2 months interval delivery. Have been watching the price since then and its almost double, so for me that is a "no way" decision, as much as I truly love Cellex C products and especially the serum, the price is just way to high. Have been using this for many years but took a break when another "major Shopping Network" no longer offered it after about 15 years, tried several others but none is as good as Cellex C. My skin is still in fantastic condition and I like to keep it that way, just not at this price. If money is no object then I 100% recommend Cellex C as it delivers as promised..

Laser Surgery in a bottle!
I have set for my daily regimen, making sure to exfoliate once a week. I read the clinical studies out there and did an experiment of my own with a week old cooking burn. I was applying the hydra5 - complex to my scar every day and after the week my scar was completely gone! I have also used it on a piercing on my daughter that was looking red and inflamed and in 2 days the area was no longer red or swollen. Obviously I’d follow the instructions included with the product and visit their website if I was new to the product. It has done wonders on my skin!

IT WORKS!!!
This is a great deal, can’t find a deal like this anywhere even on skincare sites. Great results been using it for years. Very even skin tone, and I had quite a bit of sun damage, now; you’d never know. I know I don’t have a lot of wrinkles, I don’t know if I’m lucky or the fact I’ve been using cellex c for about 20 years. I say it’s the cellex c!! Highly recommend you cannot go wrong at this price to give it a try. I recommend buying two as it’ll take a little while to see the results, but not too long!

The best!
I used this line years ago obtained through the Shopping Channel. The distributor no longer sells it on TSC, so I was recently pleased when I saw that Amazon offers it. Shortly after using it my husband told me there was a distinct difference in my skin, something people would tell me years ago, so I'm very pleased.
