Simple. Easy. JUST GET IT!!!

Well laid out. Simple, sturdy. Seems reasonably water proofed, though I haven’t actually tested it yet. Don’t think it would be hard to fix that if necessary. Most cases going with the longer plug is a great idea, highly suggest it. I don’t think I needed it, but the tongue on my trailer is short, and it sits low. Figured it wouldn’t hurt, though. Definitely made re-wiring my trailer a breeze. And the wire bundle Amazon suggested was a nice addition, too. Not exactly marine grade, but still nice wire nonetheless.

Nice wiring kit

I bought this to replace a very similar wiring setup that was damaged on a 16 foot flatbed trailer I have. It was easy to install and I had no problems with it. Once it was easily mounted everything worked perfectly. The 8 foot long wiring gives you plenty of flexibility as to where to mount it. In my case I have bit too much slack in the wiring but it's certainly better to have too much than too little. The instructions were helpful as well.

Excellent product

The original cable on our trailer got damaged. This replacement was the exact cable and box so it couldn't have been easier to install. HINT: Take lots of pictures of connections before you disconnect the old one.

Sad such a beautiful 7-Way has conflicting wiring color

Sad such a beautiful 7-Way has conflicting wiring color...the Red Wire which is for stop/turn has a Blue tape on it to actually designate it as the Trailer Brake Wire...the Blue Wire that is ACTUALLY for Trailer Brakes has a Red Sheath covering it and Conntek has it as the Stop/Turn Wire...Connetek quit hiring imbeciles that can't get the wiring colors correct in the harness and have to put colored sheathing to redesignate the wires...other than that a very nice set up at a reasonable cost...

Perfect for my 5th wheel

Perfect replacement for the damaged cord on my 5th wheel trailer. The connection box fits perfectly and is easy to access for troubleshooting electrical issues in the future without taking apart compression caps

Perfect for my trailer

Very nice kit. I am switching my trailer over from a 4-way flat plug in order to add trailer brakes. I like that the main cable is molded into the plug and all fits nicely together.
