SSD transfer speed unchanged, but frequent disconnections
I wanted to replace the 1 foot long USB 3.2 Gen 2 cable (type C-to-C) that came with my Samsung T7 SSD with a longer one. I got the 3 foot long cable. My rudimentary testing shows no noticeable difference in read/write speeds between the two cables. UPDATE: I noticed a problem that's made me stop using this cable. When I use this cable with my T7 SSD then my PC (running Windows 11) disconnects from the SSD every few minutes. This makes it difficult for me to edit text/doc/etc files stored on the drive. I do not (and did not) have this issue when I use the cable that came with my T7.

Fast
Thick cable, fast transfer speeds. I needed a USB cable to transfer stuff from camera to laptop, and to transfer to an external hard drive setup. The regular, thin, USB C cables that come with smartphones are slow only USB 2 speeds, and good only for charging your phone. This Amazon cable is purposely built for transferring files at fast USB 3 speeds. It's thick due to cable shielding and it's short length is required for fast file transfers. Beware of long thin USB C cables like those that come with your smartphone; those are only good for USB charging, those cables can also be used for file transfers at a pinch, but only at slow speeds.

Good value, fast charging
The cable seems to be built well, doesn't feel cheap or flimsy. I use this cable to charge my phone in the car, and charging speed is pretty fast. I like how it is a USB-C at both ends, I have tested using it in both directions and it works exactly the same either way.

Worked Great. 400+ MB/s with UGreen + Amazon Basics Cable
Purchased (4) Amazon Basics USB-C to USB-C 3ft cables to use with UGREEN 2.5" Drive Enclosure USB-C 3.1 Gen 2. Installed Samsung 850 EVO 500GB and 1TB SSDs in the UGREEN. Everything worked perfectly and surprisingly fast on both throughput and latency. Connected to USB-C port on a newer Dell 7550 Precision laptop. See pics. 400+ MB/second write speed on large files. Dips in the graph are while writing 1000s of small files. Latency is great seeing 1000 items/second while deleting. With the UGREEN included USB-A to USB-C cable connected to an older MacBook Air, I saw 450+ MB/second write speed. For all testing, the SSD was formatted on Windows 10 with an ExFAT filesystem with the Windows 10 default allocation size of 128K bytes. Will definitely recommend and buy both these items again.

All other 60w chargers are not as thich as these are.
I was shocked while unboxing the cable, I thought it was another type of cable (hdmi or something like that). It is as thick as a high power electric kettle (2,200w on 240v). Honestly I have never ever seen usb c cable this thick, even amazon basics' high data rate cable is not this thick and also is better quality build. 2 stars only as the product is not of standard dimensions as other manufacturers make, too bulky.

Decent quality USB-C cable
Cables is one of the things that Amazon Basics is generally good for, given the fact there’s little advantage typically of one type of cable over another. This cable, offering an upgraded version of USB-C, the technology which in many forms is now ubiquitous with everything from phones to laptops. First impressions of the cable were good as it feels robust along the length and while it has enough flex to move it is thick enough that I don’t see it getting tangled. The cable itself surprisingly was white, this may just be the test version I got but it makes no different to how it was to use. The connectors on both ends are moulded into the cable and feel solid enough that I don’t expect any issues here either. The cable itself worked as expected. Overall then, this makes for another great cable from Amazon Basics - if you’re looking to connect something using USB-C this is really a great option.

Supports fast charging up to 15W (3A/5V) data transfer speeds up to 480Mbps Amazon brands always impress me, this is the best Type C cable that I have ever had! It has a thick rubber coating and the two Type C plugs are just perfect, they slide into my charger and phone without an issue and have a strong secure lock. The cable itself looks almost indestructible and charges my Samsung S9+ really fast.

USB-C Kabel für hohe Datenübertragungsraten
Gleich wie das USB-C auf USB-A Gen2 Kabel welches ich ebenfalls besitze nutze ich dieses Kabel auf meiner Workstation für Datenworkflows. Ich erreiche nahezu 1GB/s beim Lesen und Schreiben von Daten auf die Disken (Samsung T7 SSD). Zum Laden von Smartphones nutze ich das Kabel nicht oder nur ganz selten. Würde auch funktionieren. Einige Käufer schrieben auch von einem unangenehmen Geruch welcher vom Kabel beim Auspacken ausgeht. Das stimmt, legt sich aber mit der Zeit.
