Runs small
We ordered the size 4 for our kid who’s a 2T, it fits like a 3T and runs small.

I LOVE IT! I personally think if your thinking of getting it Note: The zipper is Metal like the ones worn by an adult, probably runs small for your baby if your thinking of getting her/his size. So i suggest getting one or two sizes bigger then your baby's actual size. I bought it for my 9month Baby Girl, I have noticed that for carter's I always need to buy two sizes bigger when it comes to my lil-one Sweaters. My Baby girl is average size Baby* she's not small or chuncky she's 23lb. For Baby Sweaters from Carters Brand I always need to Buy two sizes bigger (CARTERS-BRAND-ONLY) I think they maybe run small. She's 9m & 18m fits PERFECT! ITS Very soft, softer then what I thought it be. It's not a heavy thick sweater. I Love it! Only 4stars because of the Adult zipper.

Warm, soft and high quality.
My baby is a little over 3 months and weights about 14/15lbs. She is still wearing 3M and 0-3M clothes. I wanted a size that would still have room for her to grow in. I got size 6M and fits her perfect. It is definitely not small nor too big. She still has room to use it another two months. I noticed that it is little tighter on the arms and wrist area when I put it on her. She has chubby hands but not exaggerated. If you have a little one with really chunky hands then it might be too tight to get the hands through the sleeves. I love the material and how warm it is. The hoodie part does fit her big. The quality is exactly what I was looking for. I definitely would buy the next size up for her once she outgrows this size.

Runs 2 sizes SMALL, but still cute
Soft and cute as you would expect from Carters brand clothes - However, this coat runs VERY SMALL. If you plan on putting this coat over anything bulky (sweater, fleece shirt, sweatshirt, etc) it will be tight! For instance, my kiddo wears 12M clothes, so I ordered an 18M coat AND IT IS STILL TOO TIGHT. Order at least 2 sizes up.

Excellent baby gift
