Papercrafters: don't write off construction paper

I purchased this paper because of the size: 9 x 12 inches. I got the new We R Memory Keepers Slimline Card Board and it requires 9" wide paper. Can't find that in copy paper (unless you go really large and that's very expensive), so I thought I'd try some construction paper. It's smooth, fairly strong, cuts easily. I've also now used it for layering behind the focal layer of my cards and it works just fine. And it worked great for making the envelopes.

Super thin

It’s not really construction paper. It’s very thin and flimsy, not much thicker than regular copy paper. It is a good value for the money though. Good to use for young kids art projects.

It is thin for construction paper as others have commented, but it's still heavier than copy paper. So, my kids are able to do their water coloring on it okay.

Great paper for painting and drawing

I got the paper so my toddler and I could start painting and drawing. The thickness is just what I was looking for. I taped it to the table so it wouldn't slide but be careful taking it off as it can rip the top layer of paper. So use a little tape on the paper. I was using scotch tape and next time I'll use painter's tape since I think it might be better.

Construction paper

Wasn't as thick as i had hoped for but happy with it because I can't ever find plain white construction paper , Only colorful.

Two packages out of 12 we're not wrapped properly

Two packages were wrapped so tight that the corners lifted up in the package and creased all the papers on the corner upward. So out of my 12 packages 10 we're fine but two were unusable. Paper was not as thick as I expected. However for the cost it was appropriate I suppose.
