Broken wheel

I bought two of these plant trolleys at the beginning of the summer of 2022 and was happy with them. Good looking and I thought they were sturdy. They are a set that hold two big matching potted plants on our slate patio. I bought another one recently because one of the two had a wheel break off, which made it unusable. Hoping for the best! If a wheel breaks off again I will not be purchasing the same plant trolleys.

Works well, looks nice

This is one of those "what can go wrong?" products. Some cast iron, three casters. Although I guess they could have botched the casters. It looks nice (although who is going to see it?) and it it appears to be sturdy. I put 16" terracotta containers with saucers on two of them and they roll smoothly. The plant trolley does what a plant trolley is supposed to do, which is to give mobility to plant containers. In addition, two of the casters have locks to keep the trolley in place. While I doubt that the trolley would allow one to move a plant from indoors to outdoors (how many thresholds are flat and smooth?), you can move a plant around on a flat surface. And you can rotate the plant occasionally when there's more light from one side than the other, to ensure even and straight growth. My one reservation has to do with the finish when in an outdoor environment. It may be durable, but I have my doubts. So I just masked off the casters on the one that would be exposed to the weather and spray painted it with rust-prevention paint. I'm reviewing based on the price I paid, which was half of the current $21. At the current price, no purchase, no review. ***** Update: "Although I guess they could have botched the casters." Well, they did. While the casters would probably last a long time rolling across a perfectly smooth surface such as a living room floor, they aren't meant to roll over a rough surface, or to navigate vertical mismatches on concrete walkways. Being weak, brittle plastic, they break on impact.

Had looked around in a variety of local stores but could not find anything made this well and for this price. Perfect for our needs.

Wheels not sturdy & break

The stand came with a broken wheel but I didn’t realize it until months later after I tried to move it. The wheels are not sturdy. Cheap plastic

Protect your wood floors from planted pots are aerated Keeping them elevated up off your floors

If you have wooden floors you’ll see how easy it is to bring your potted plants in. There is a hole in the base so you’re able to put a small catch bowl to catch any water that may overflow. I purchased two of these and plan to tell all of my friends about this product to help protect their wood floors or tile. Protect your wood floors from overwatering plants and your planted pots are aerated Keeping them elevated up off your floors. I have used other products before and mold has developed under the pots on a wood floor .

I use this trolley to wheel my orange tree outside in good weather. Very nice, heavy quality. Wheels seem a little cheap (plastic) but so far they have not failed and they have a little 'locking' mechanism to keep the whole thing from rolling away. I did have to use some tacky shelf liner to keep my heavy planter from sliding off and when I roll it anywhere I have to have one hand on the trolley and one on the heavy planter- not as easy to roll around as I might have liked but it beats picking up the heavy planter for sure.

Somewhat of a disappointment

The deciding factor for me in purchasing this was that the casters were said to be replaceable by another reviewer. I have had several other rolling plant stands for a number of years and, yes, finally one of the casters broke off one of them when I foolishly rolled it some distance along a very uneven path and it jolted down quite a drop. However, I find the Esschert stand is very much less sturdy and the casters don't roll at all smoothly even if you can get them turned in the right direction to roll, and I end up dragging the whole thing which defeats the purpose. All my rolling stands are on a covered patio and are frequently moved so I can sweep out leaves and debris, which is why I got them in the first place. I paid the same price for this stand as I did for the sturdier ones I purchased from a home improvement store.

Perfect gardening gift!!!!

Esschert has designed and manufactured a quality product with sturdy design elements, strong wheels and an extremely attractive design that I will be happy to use on either patio. Bravo!!!! Always pleasantly surprised when you can find a functional AND attractive design element that just makes sense and looks classy!!! Thanks folks....that's one of the reason I just keep coming back!!! Please keep up the good work!!!j Such a nice surprise when you can find what you want; it's study and attractive and nice enough to give as a gift for a fellow gardener!!!

Die Rollen sind Schrott …

… wenn man davon ausgeht, dass Blumentopf + Erde + Pflanzen einiges an Gewicht ausmachen. Ich habe schon einen zweiten Satz Rollen bestellt (nicht billig) und die sind wieder kaputtgegangen. Habe insgesamt vier Pflanzentrolleys und ärgere mich immer wieder wenn ich die bewegen und muß mir inzwischen mit Steinen aushelfen muß damit die nicht hinken. Dafür nur zwei Punkte, wegen des Ärgers eigentlich ein Punkt. Sonst ist das Gestell super … die Rollen wie gesagt, der allerletzte Schrott, 100% für den Zweck ungeeignet.

Schlecht verpackt aber schöne Trolleys

Ich habe 2x bestellt. Bei der 1 Bestellung waren bei dem einen trolley ein Rad abgebrochen und beim anderen ist der Guss gebrochen. Bei meinem Ersatz ist es zumindest so, daß eines ganz ist und beim anderen wieder die Rolle gebrochen. Wenn ich Gegenstände aus Guss verschicke und Plastik, sollte ich diese auch dementsprechend verpacken und sichern. Wenn ich wieder bestelle ist 100%wieder eines kaputt. Die Trolley. Wenn sie ganz sind sind sehr schön und Rollen auch gut.

La resistencia y durabilidad

No me gusto lo mal terminado de la base viene con muchas rebabas...si no tienes cuidado al manipularlo te puedes cortar

Sehr stabil

Ein toller Blickfang statt der üblichen Holzuntersetzter. Wirkt sehr ansehnlich und gerade mit alten Krügen ein Hingucker. Sehr gute Verarbeitung Ein Pflanzentrolley der auch Gewicht tragen kann ohne das die Rollen den Geist aufgeben. Sehr empfehlenswert

Massives Metall in schöner Optik

Ob es als Pflanzenuntersetzer taugt, keine Ahnung. Ich hab es verwendet um etwas ganz anderes daraus zu bauen. Aber es ist echtes Vollmetall, fühlt sich auch wertig an und sieht gut aus. Die Rollen funktionierten auch wie sie sollen. Sehr gut.
